~Saturday~
"Ok party people we ready?" I asked.
"A day exploring the city dubbed the most crime ridden in the world. Hell yeah!" Kim exclaimed.
"I mean what could go wrong." Nathaniel replied.
"You totally jinxed it."
"I'm thinking we start with some window shopping," I suggested.
"Window shopping? You sound like an old woman," Adrien laughed.
"It's not my fault I feel drawn to that area of the city."
"Got some spidy sense?"
"No it has to be ladybug sense," Alix said.
"Or maybe it's just a gut feeling which I've learned to trust."
"I think ladybug sense is better."
~~~
"Everything up to your liking milady?" Adrien asked.
"Is your ladybug sense going off?" Alix questioned.
I rolled my eyes at her question. Before I could respond, I stopped dead in tracks. I looked in the window of the store to my right. Staring back at me was a beautiful necklace.
"Looks like it," Adrien said.
"Do you not sense something coming off the necklace?" I asked.
"Now that you mention it yeah."
"Miraculous." we said at same time.
"Can't we just have one normal day," Chloe complained.
I walked into the store with the others following me. At the counter, there was a man looking at his phone.
"Hello. I wanted to get a closer look at the necklace in the window," I said trying my best to get rid of my French accent. Knowing Gotham, they would probably try to scam someone they thought was a tourist.
"What a great eye you have. It is one of my newer additions to my store. The necklace is one of a kind," he replied bringing the necklace back to the counter.
"Hmm... I'm not sure it's what I was looking for," I lied hoping it would make him drop from the original piece he would offer.
"And what exactly are you looking for?" he asked seeming offended at my comment.
"It's just not the color scheme I thought it was in the window. Adrien what do you think?"
"The colors are off," Adrien added going along with my lie as we didn't want to seem too eager to buy it.
"Are you going to buy it or not?"
"I might be able to make it work I guess. How much are you asking?" I asked.
"Due to it being rare, it might be out of your price range especially if you are this picky."
Damnit. I thought acting not eager would make it less expensive. No matter how expensive, I'll pay whatever he asks to prevent a miraculous from falling in the wrong hands.
"That's not a price," Adrien said causing me to step on his foot for acting rudely.
"If you keep acting like that, I might raise it. The price was originally $1,000."
