murphy's law.

i walk out of the dropship and i see everyone getting ready to sleep and i walk away from the camp. over to a tree and sit down. 

i see finn walking over to me. "hey" he says, i look away. "you're still mad at me" he mumbles. "not mad" i state. he sits down next to me and i hear him sigh, "look, I've never had whatever this is. and it's scary. jasper is like my brother. so him almost dying, after what happened to my mom, i'm scared to let anyone else in. i like you finn. i really do, even if it has only been about a week since we landed, you're funny, cute. a really good kisser" he chuckles at my last comment. "but i'm scared if i let you in, that you'll get hurt and i'll lose you too. and i don't want that, i don't want to lose you" he grabs my hand. "you won't lose me. i promise" he grabs the side of my face with his other hand leaning in. i kiss him slowly.

i let go of his other hand and move my hands over to his chest. 

he pulls away and looks at me, "i really like you too" i smile and look at him, "how's jasper?" he asks. i shrug, "he's managing surviving a spear through the chest" i say. he nods.

he wraps his arms around my waist. "so you've never had a boyfriend?" he asks. i look at him, "never" his eyes widen. "that's bullshit, there's no way. you're too beautiful" i smile. "stop it, but i'm serious. i've never had a boyfriend, or a first kiss till you"

"well then i'm a lucky guy" he leans in kissing me. i move my hand to the side of his face, his grip tightens around my waist as we start laying down. he moves his kisses down to my neck and i close my eyes. 

this feels amazing, i hear someone clear their throat and i open my eyes to see wells. we sit up and i look at wells. "uh, hi"

"i'm on watch duty" i nod and stand up. "i should go uh, check on jasper" i look at finn who's still sitting down. i smile and walk away from both of them. embarrassing. 

i walk into the dropship and up the ladder. "hey jasp" i say, he smiles. "hey" i sit next to monty. "how you feeling" i ask jasper. 

"better, what about you?" i shake my head, "fine"

"she has a thing with finn" monty mumbles. i hit his arm, "shut up! it's not a thing. we're just friends" 

jasper chuckles. "sure. we're just friends, you and him. are not" monty states. 

"i bet she was with him just a second ago" i roll my eyes. "you two are assholes" i chuckle. "ok, well let's talk about mr. i'm gonna save octavia blake from a sea monster" i say. he smiles, "she's cute" i smile. "as long as your happy jasp" 

"same goes for you" i look down, "now it's time to find monty a girlfriend" jasper says. i look up and look at monty, "what about harper? she's a nice girl. seems sweet" i say. "i'm calling this. in 5 months they're gonna get together" i add. "why 5 months?"

"because you're stubborn, and too pussy to go talk to girls"

"i'm talking to you am i not?" monty says. "i don't count. i'm like your sister" he rolls his eyes. "anyways, i'm glad you're ok jasp" i say. he smiles. "me too leigh, me too"

i'm sitting outside the camp alone. i shouldn't be but i needed to get away from everyone, wells got killed by a grounder the other night. so everyone's been on alert. 

"you shouldn't be out here alone. they got wells just outside the wall" i turn my head and see finn, i stand up. "says the guy who spent another night exploring the woods all by himself"

"but i'm reckless and irresponsible" i roll my eyes. "i got you something" he does something and shows me a pencil. "where did you get this?" i ask, taking it from his hands "the art supply store" i look at him. "how did you-"
