Strangers

i trust him

i climb the ladder up to where bellamy is keeping the grounder. "hey" i say, he looks at me. "what?"

i walk over to him, "you ok?"

he gives me this look. "i brought you some nuts"

"did you talk to your dad?" he asks. "no, i refuse too"

i try handing him the nuts, "i'm not hungry"

"come on blake. you gotta eat" he sighs, "i will later" i sigh. "fine. don't take them, but you'll be stuck with me until you do"

suddenly miller climbs up the ladder, "kaleigh go. you don't need to babysit me" he says. "you don't want my company?"

"i have miller. go" i sigh, "fine" i stand up and go over to the ladder, "blake" he looks at me. "if you need anything let me know"

he nods and i climb down the ladder.

i walk towards the radio tent. "i want to speak with my mom"

"ok you will, but right now clarke is in there" i state. the boy rolls his eyes, "she's been in there for long enough it's our turn" i nod, "i'll let her know"

"it can provide shelter for the 100 and for the citizens coming down from the ark" i hear. i open the radio tent, "clarke" she looks at me. "perfect i was just about to come find you"

"people are getting impatient"

"kaleigh?" i hear someone say. i look and see my dad, "thank god your alive"

i look at clarke. "let me know when you're done, i'll be with monty and jasper"

"alright"

"wait kaleigh-" i walk out of the tent ignoring my fathers call to me. i walk over to jasper and monty, "what are you two druggies doing?" i ask. "we're not druggies" i roll my eyes and smile. "sure, then why are you on the ground? and not up in space. because last i checked they only sent prisoners down here"

monty rolls his eyes. "because someone forgot to restock our stash, not because we're druggies" i laugh. "same thing jasp"

"so what are we doing here?" i ask. "making rations, and eating nuts" i chuckle. "alright"

"dax!" i hear clarke yell. "hey have you guys seen dax?" she says walking over to us. "over there. on the meat crew" monty says, "kaleigh after that i have a job for you"

i nod.

"alright so you want me and whoever i want as backup to go to a bunker, and get supplies?" she nods. "alright, i'll go get bellamy but why aren't you going?"

"well you're smart, whoever you choose will be alot of help so I'm guessing Bellamy and someone needs to stay back and watch camp" i nod. "alright"

"also. after you get bellamy, do me a favor and go change finns bandage" i look at her. "i know, but just this one time" she says. i nod. "fine"

i walk into the dropship where bellamy is. "bellamy-"

"the answer is still no i'm not talking to jaha" he says. "relax that's not why i'm here"

"what then?"

"according to clarke, the ark found some old records that show a supply depot not too far from here" i state, "what kind of supplies?" he asks. "the kind that might give us a chance to live through winter"

"why are you asking me?"

"because right now, i don't feel like being around anyone i actually do like" he sighs. "i'll get my stuff, meet you in 10"
