i stand next to finn and clarke as jaha and abby stand in front of the crowd. "by now, you've all heard the rumor. and unfortunately, it's true. the grounders are coming. we have a difficult decision to make, thankfully, chancellor jaha has found his way back to us. and we're discussing all options" abby says, "but to be safe. we need to pack. now. whatever you can carry, we may need to leave at a moments notice" jaha adds.
"where will we go?" a man yells, "i don't know, is the answer. but i heard of a place, a city of light. it's across the deadzone"
"what makes you think we'll make it there?"
"because we made it here. i have faith, and right now, given the alternative. that's good enough for me"
clarke steps up. "not for us" she says, i step up beside her. "if we leave here what happens to our people in mount weather?"
"or councilor kane?" i ask. "as your mother said clarke, that is a very difficult decision to make. but the time has come, for each and every one of us to ask. is this how our story ends. did we call come all this way to die tomorrow. because if we're not gone by the time that sun rises, that is exactly what will happen" people start whispering and i look at abby, "no decision has been made. in the meantime, please report to your station supervisor and gather emergency supplies." people start walking away and i look at clarke who's just staring at her mom. "come on, we'll talk to her" i say. we start walking and i feel someone grab my wrist, i turn and see bellamy. "blake, where have you been?" i ask, it feels good to know he's ok. "in the dropship. you both need to come back with me, right now"
"why what's happened" clarke and i say at the same time. "i'll explain on the way, bring a med kit. we meet at ravens gate" he goes to walk off and i grab his wrist, he looks at me. "are you and octavia ok?" he nods, "yea, we are" i nod and he walks off. clarke walks the opposite way leaving me and finn in the middle of the crowd. "this is my fault. the grounders are attacking because of me" finn says. i step closer to him, "the grounders are attacking because that's what they do" i mumble, he looks down. "go with bellamy. your mom said no decision has been made. if that changes, i'll let you know" he mumbles, i nod. "alright"
i walk off and meet at ravens gate. bellamy is waiting there, "where is clarke?"
"she should be coming here, but are you hurt?" he shakes his head, "ok good" i look at him, i wrap my arms around his neck hugging him. i can tell he hesitates but he hugs me back. "thank god you're ok"
...
i climb up the ladder after clarke. i look at octavia and then lincoln growls. i stumble back, "it's ok. it's ok. he's been restrained" bellamy says, "i can't believe we're back here again" clarke mumbles. "can you help him?" octavia asks, "i don't know" i stare at lincoln. "we knew mount weather controlled the reapers, but we had no idea they were creating the," i mumble. "if they can do that to lincoln, what are they doing to our friends?" i look at bellamy.
he's right, if they can create reapers, our friends are in more trouble then we thought.
...
clarke steps closer to lincoln.
i feel someone grab my hand and i look down, it's bellamys hand. i look at him then at clarke, lincoln starts shaking. "he's convulsing" clarke states.
"what does that mean?" i ask. clarke shakes her head. "what happened to his leg?" she asks, "i shot him" octavia mumbles.
"clarke, he's lost alot of blood" bellamy states, she tries stepping closer and he starts growling at her. "can you shine the light on his neck"
bellamy octavia and i listen and shine our lights on his neck. "needle marks" she mumbles, "you think he was drugged?" i ask. "maybe"
suddenly the chain breaks and Lincoln grabs clarke. "clarke!" i yell, i let go of bellamys hand running to help her. lincoln hits me and i fall to the floor. "lincoln!" octavia yells,
