The expression on Harsh's face made my blood boil. His face was simmering with anger, something he had no right to show. The audacity of him to be angry after cheating on Naina on their wedding day is abhorrent.
"She isn't your wife." He said, looking at me with anger overcast in his eyes.
My jaw clenched as I looked at his ugly face, unable to hide my resentment towards him. I took a step towards him, trying extremely hard to stop myself from punching him. I was here to talk, peacefully but this man is making it really difficult.
Even though his words were right to an extent, he had no right to point that out or fight for it when he was the reason behind us getting married.
"She is my wife." I said, nonchalantly, looking right into his eyes.
His jaw clenched upon hearing my words. I don't care if this marriage held no meaning to either of us, I'm not letting anyone use Naina anymore, even if it calls for me to use the term 'wife' out loud, without actually meaning it.
"No, she isn't. You're just my replacement, someone who was used as a pawn until I returned." He said, his voice lacing with a hint of.. pride?
Why does this fucktard sound so proud?
"And?" I muttered, with a straight face, taking a pause to look at him with an arched brow. "What does me being a replacement have anything to do with Naina being my wife?" I added.
It feels strange to use that term again and again.
He looked at me with a clenching jaw, as if what I just said wasn't obvious, but then, what else can we expect from his nut-sized brain?
"She isn't your wife." He repeated.
"Humari shaadi ki video dekhega?" I asked, in a taunting tone, a sly smirk emerging on my lips.

"How delusional are you to think that you can have Naina back?" I added.
As triggering it is to watch him fight for Naina, especially after committing such a heinous crime, it was equally satisfying to antagonize him. Honestly, I don't understand the reason behind him still being here, but at the same time, I'm not very shocked.
Anuj Uncle hasn't done anything right in the past few hours, how can I expect him to make the right decision now? Especially, after him still wanting to get Naina married to this clown, after everything he has done. He's so far gone that coming back to the right path isn't happening anytime soon.
