"Are you done, Kaddu? We have to leave in 10 minutes." I said, walking inside her room.

She was putting the stuff that was kept on the bed into her tote bag. She turned to look at me as soon as she heard me, a sleepy smile adorning her face.

"All done. Just the last minute packing." She said.

I walked towards her bed and plopped on it, raising myself on my left elbow, trying my best to fight back the wave of sleep coursing through me.

"I hope there's no media waiting for us at the airport." She said, with a sigh as she put her charge in her bag.

"Don't worry, there's no chance they'll be there at 4 in the morning." I replied, looking at her not-so-happy face.

Yes, 4 in the morning. Not only are we travelling at the crack of the dawn, we're also flying two days late as compared to the rest of the team. Unfortunately, it's the only time for the popular faces to travel without getting caught in the media's radar.

There has been a lot of buzz about us ever since the revelation about our marriage was made. A lot of people especially the media have been desperately waiting for us to make an appearance together.

I don't really mind doing that, but keeping in mind the trauma they've given to Naina in the past, it would be better to give Naina some time to adapt to this new attention. She will anyways be appearing at stadiums during the matches, and that would help her and everyone else grasp this reality slowly.

"Hopefully. I don't feel like getting flocked by them at 4 in the morning." She replied, walking towards her dressing table.

"Zoro and I would literally team up to bite their heads off if they dare to." I said, humorously.

She let out a chuckle and looked at me, a hint of excitement glimmering in her eyes.

"Will there be fries for breakfast?" Naina asked as she brushed her hair.

An amused expression emerged on my face as I heard her barely-awake self demanding for fries at 3 in the morning.

This girl and her obsession with her burgers and fries.

"Why are you thinking about fries at 3 in the morning, Naina?" I asked.

"Because it's important. We'll be travelling for 12 hours and we should be surrounded with good food." She said, in a sardonic tone while nodding her head dramatically.

Her gaze then shifted to my outfit, causing her brows to arch at me amusingly.

"Weren't you wearing a different outfit a few minutes ago?" She asked, her eyes sparkling with frolicsome.
