>>In the phantom world<<
-warning- fighting scenes, non canon reactions...that's really all I got for you..
The sky was a deep crimson, casting an eerie shadow over the landscape. The sound of six pairs of hurried footsteps and panting echoed through the air, accompanied by another set closing in on them with relentless determination. The group of six dashed towards the abandoned school buses
I shout, "Time?!" as they pushed themselves to move even faster. Logan quickly replied, "8 minutes!"
My legs were on the verge of giving out, but the surge of adrenaline was intoxicating. With the specter of death chasing us, I couldn't help but feel a strange thrill—danger had always been a bit of an addiction for me.
As we neared the entrance, I stumbled slightly but refused to let a minor trip slow me down. I managed to dive through the gate just as it slammed shut, leaving the phantoms locked out on the other side.
The relentless pounding on the gate was grating, but knowing the phantoms were kept at bay provided some small comfort.
For now, at least...
A while back, I'd cut the side of my stomach, but I hadn't mentioned it to anyone. It wasn't a big deal—the pain had long since faded, and the blood wasn't visible through my black shirt.
I settled in at the back of the bus, a smile creeping across my face as I stared up at the ceiling. This was exactly the kind of scenario I'd always been drawn to in horror stories and apocalyptic films.
Everyone else was either tending to their needs or trying to unwind. I noticed Aiden approaching, looking like he had something on his mind. Just then, the noise from outside ceased. Tyler broke the silence. "It probably gave up or someth—" His words were cut short as we all froze, watching in horror as a phantom's hand appeared at the front of the bus.
It slowly slithered inside, and we were powerless to reach our stash of weapons.
We all huddled together at the back of the bus, watching as the phantom drew closer with each step.
Aiden and I exchanged a glance, both of us wearing grins. His was wider—probably because he's a bit of a lunatic—but that was beside the point.
we almost--died.
A/N: Honestly i only wrote this because i was inspired by the one and only @iamtheanimeweeb who wrote the famous 'Aiden x Reader' that I ever so love. But after reading a few episodes of the webtoon, I knew I was absolutely in love with Aiden.
BUT, I was -semi- jealous of Ashlyn b/c of all the ships, so i with the inspiration-- i am making my first book....
