>>>>Arguments and Disagreements<<<<
I grabbed my food and took a seat at the table with the others. When Aiden, sitting on the opposite side, looked up and saw me, his face instantly brightened. Without missing a beat, he moved to sit right next to me.
Seriously? Right by me...?
The six of us sat down. I sat there and stared at my food, the motivation to eat5 the goopy potatoes and mushy french fries decreasing as the tension in the air thickened.
Tyler broke the silence. "I think we should go back to Savannah." Everyone turned to him, our silent table seemed to get even more silent with only one comment.
Logan, spoke up, stuttering. "I thought everyone agreed it was too dangerous...?"
Tyler continued backing his statement. "So what? We're just supposed to let things stay like they are?"
I mean... we didn't ask to be sent to that abomination of a dimension.."I'd rather be semi-stuck then permanently stuck." I silently muttered under my breath, but Tyler heard it, and an argument broke out.
"Well maybe, if you had told us the truth, from the beginning, we wouldn't be stuck at all!"
"I already explained why I didn't--"
"Aren't you one to talk." Aiden interrupted us.
"You're the one who brushed it off as a prank. If she did say anything, would you even believe her?" He said as one of those creepy smiles formed on his face.
"With your personality, I seriously doubt it.."
Tyler, now furious, launched into a rant..
"Whether I would have believed her or not, she should have said something! Now we're stuck in some demonic dimension, running away from flesh-eating deadly creatures, I've lost count how many near-death experiences I've had, None of us have slept in days, we can't tell our parents or any--!"
Ben cut him off after slamming his fist on the table, making a 'quiet down' motion
Tyler calmed himself down a little bit before continuing.
"If we don't go back to Savannah where this cycle begun, then what else are we supposed to do?"
Everyone glanced away or looked around, avoiding eye contact with others. We each considered whether the risk was worth even considering. Meanwhile, for a quick second, I made direct eye contact with Aiden.
I couldn't help but feel a strange feeling in my stomach. I guess it's because he face annoys me. Other than that i don't know what else it could be.

I scrambled around my room, trying to get ready for my first day of high school. My orange braids were half-done, and I could barely manage to get them into place as I threw on my clothes and grabbed my backpack. I glanced at the clock and realized I was running late, so I dashed downstairs. As I thew my backpack on my back, I grabbed the cup of coffee dad had led for me on the kitchen counter.
As I bolted through the door, I saw my mom hurrying down the driveway, her own morning chaos evident as she fumbled with her keys and tried to get her car started. We exchanged a quick, panicked look.
"Bye mom!"
"Have a good day!" Both of us sped off in our separate directions, each of us racing against the clock to avoid being late.
I rushed to catch the bus, barely making it in time. As I walked down the narrow aisle of seats, I was surrounded by the buzz of chattering strangers.
I really should have made an alarm earlier..
