YOU LAUGHED AT MK who was pretty naive to trust and believe you. It was easy to manipulate and use him as tool to get Monkey King's powers, like taking a candy from a baby.

The boy collapsed down in front of the copy you used to trick him, "You know, you really are a good kid. Super nice..." Your copy said before disappearing into your shadow. You held the stone that held Wukong's powers and absorbed it, increasing your energy. The impact was too powerful that it sent away Mk to a rock, the staff pinning him against it, "Thank you, for giving me all of Monkey King's power." You said and floated in front of him with a look mockery, noticing that he couldn't free himself from the staff.

"Huh? Oh, no. Can't you hold the magic staff anymore? Well, you know what that means. There really isn't anything special about you." You then dashed at him and held the staff that pinning Mk against the rock, "You're just some kid with a heavy stick." You stated and laughed evilly.

"Enough!"

You were suddenly kicked away, but you already knew who it was. You rolled away and looked up, seeing Wukong standing there with his arms crossed, "Monkey King!" Mk called out with relief, but Wukong flashed him a glare that it made him shut up. You smirked, knowing that this was the beginning of the battle, "Monkey King. It's good to see you, bud!" You exclaimed, venom dripping from your tongue.

"Are you ever going to get sick of living in my shadow? It's time to give back what you stole."

"You are such a gem. It's going to be so satisfying, killing you with your own powers."

With that being said, you dashed at him, aiming for a punch him. However, Wukong held both your fists on his hands. You two exchanged a volley of punches before you landed on a mountain, summoning shadow clones of yourself. Wukong followed suit and plucked a few hair locks, creating clones as well. Leaving the clones collide with each other, you and Wukong resumed your fight, taking shapes of different animals. Wukong was going to punch you, but he froze when he saw... Mk?

However, the boy smirked before a clone pushed Wukong away. The copy of Mk ran to Monkey King and punch him, sending him crushing through the mountains. The monkey wasn't going to give up and moved to continue the fight, but your clones pinned him down. Wukong used his gold vision and saw you standing there while laughing, "Seriously? You fell for that?" You said with a smug look, looking toward Mk who was still pinned against the wall and struggling.

"Consider this as a payment for what you've broken, Sun Wukong."

You then summoned your Smoke Monster which made Mk scream, "Sorry, kid. Nothing personal!" You laughed and immediately went to attack the boy, but the fist of your monster was held back by none other than Wukong who managed to free himself rather fast, "Come on! Show me the real Sun Wukong! The old you would have leveled this whole mountain range to stop me, but you're scared of hurting some kid? Pathetic!" You exclaimed as you added more pressure on your punch.

"Come on, staff. I can't. I'm not strong enough." Mk spoke up, struggling to free himself.

"Kid. We're definitely going to have words later. But it's time for the hero stuff!"

You focused more on torturing Wukong that you didn't notice that Mk was free and was struggling to pick up the staff, "Patience. Focus. Step into the strike." Just as the boy exclaimed, the staff was thrown at you, blasting you and the Smoke Monster away and causing a great explosion. You were glad that you managed to escape before the staff could hit you directly.

The battle finally ended.

-TIME SKIP-

You returned to your dojo, completely frustrated by your loss. You were winning, you were this close to break Wukong. But that kid... He had to ruin everything.

You punched the wall closest in frustration and growled, "This isn't going to end like this. I will show them all what I can do." You stated, your eyes flashing purple for a split second. You had set your mind on ruining Wukong's life no matter what and this could be achieved if you managed to get Mk. You now had to keep an eye on the boy, observing his life events. When the moment of weakness come, you will make your move. However, you had to ensure that Monkey King is gone or unaware of what's happening to his successor. Like this, Wukong won't just be shattered, but he will also regret getting Mk involved into this heroic business.

And you will evening get your revenge on who you once called your lover. You just needed to be patient, that's all.
