If I could be the rain,
I want to be an umbrella too.
I may cause you pain,
But I'll make sure I can still protect you.
No matter how many times you cry,
No matter how many times you scream,
I'll cover you from the painful sky,
And keep you sheltered and your dream.
If I can pour like the rain,
So that you can release those pain,
I'll gladly do so and give my all,
So that you no longer need to hold those tears to fall.
If I could be your umbrella,
I'll protect you with my life,
Just like how umbrellas protect us from raindrops,
I'll protect you till your last teardrops.
I can be your rain,
While being your umbrella from pain.
Just hold unto my hands and never let go,
You're safe with me, I promise you.
