I knocked on the door and waited for a response. But nobody answered, I realized there wasn't a car in the driveway but I saw led lights on in Ayanna's room which means she's home.

This time I rang the doorbell twice so she could answer but she never came.
Aint no way she's ignoring me right now.

Ayanna's Pov

I was woken up by the sound of the doorbell ringing I expected it to be a salesman so I didn't answer. But they just kept ringing and ringing.

"Ok now im pissed off." I said getting out of my bed putting my socks on heading downstairs.

I walked downstairs and they continued ringing the bell.
I unlocked the door to be met with "Mari?" I said looking her up and down."Hey my love." She said to me.

My heart fluttered a little bit, I missed her voice a lot. But I know I can't give into her bs. "What you doing here?" I asked leaning on the door frame like a black momma.

She laughed a little before responding."When I said I missed you I meant it so im here to see you and I also wanna talk." She said.

I let her in my room since I didn't want to talk downstairs. She sat on the edge of the bed while I say back in my warm spot."Alright you're here so let's talk...again." I said bluntly."Why'd you say it like that?" She said giving me a weird look.

"I didn't say it like anything what you talking bout?" I said getting irritated. I did the technique Ms. Parker taught me to keep my nerves down so I don't lose my patience or get mad quickly. The thought of her makes me smile. I can't even describe it.

"Anyways I think we should get back together." She said with a small smile.
I squinted my eyes and tilted my head."I have a question,Why are you randomly changing your thoughts all of a sudden?" I asked. I know exactly why but Im gonna see if she tells the truth.

She fidgeted with her fingers before responding."Uhm like I said I miss you mama." She said. Her tone was clearly unconvincing. I got up and went to the edge of the bed where she was. But instead I was standing in front of her.
"Look at me for a second."I said grabbing her chin looking into her eyes.

Her eye contact is shaky she can barely look at me for 2 seconds. It might seem creepy but im good at reading people its a small gift i have which is barely helpful."Your lying to me." I said letting go of her chin.

She looked down at her hands and back at me." You look pretty today baby." She said licking her lips."Don't try to change the subject cuz I know your lying to me.And i know you went to go see another bitch after you left me.Im so serious if yo ass don't tell me the truth in the next 5 seconds we never speaking again." I said.

She looked at me like she was offended."Okok ill tell you. I did go see another girl and we ended up doing it but right after we finished she js left. Like she didn't give a shit, and that just made me feel shitty. And I thought that maybe I could just come back to you..." She said.

I sat back down taking in the information."Im sorry she did that to you. But you just wanna gonna go around hurting people and once you get hurt we all supposed to feel bad for you and come to you with open arms? Like you said I don't think we should be together. I wanna be with you but I can't." I finally said.

She turned around so we were now face to face."You said you can't what do you mean you can't? Are you talking to somebody else? Is that why you don't care if we talk anymore or not?" She said standing up hovering over me like she tryna start something.

"Why the fuck you tryna press me right now?" I said standing up getting all in her face like she was doing to me.
She tried to push me but I pushed her right back."Bitch back the fuck up." She said looking at me with an attitude.

Bitch? Aint no way this hoe called me a bitch. I grabbed her neck and slightly tightened my grip on it."Yo watch who the fuck you talking to cuz im not no bitch and you know that." She looked at my eyes then my lips then my eyes again while licking her lips."Man get your freaky ass off me." I said letting go of her neck pushing her away from me.

"Im sorry mama." she said genuinely. She came closer and sat next to me on the bed. She seemed to be admiring my face I assume."Let me make it up to you baby." she said. Laying a light kiss on my lips and for some reason I didn't stop her. She slowly started kissing on my neck getting my sweet spots.

"Mari we can't do this. I don't want to be just sex to you. You said you wanted to be in a relationship with me but treat me like a sneaky link. I wanna go on romantic dates and learn stuff about each other and connect on a different level, but that's not what you tryna do. You just wanna hoe around an im not judging you but Im not tryna be one of your hoes." I explained to her.

She nodded in response trying to I guess comprehend what I just said."I understand what you mean Ive just been hurt so many times-"But im not gonna hurt you if you don't hurt me Mari its simple." I said interrupting her.

"You're right , but i don't want just part of you i want all of you I promise Yana." She said."Pinky promise?" I asked holding out my pinky. She let out a small laugh as we interlocked pinky's.

"Soo what now?" I asked. We were now just sitting in my room doing nothing."Well Ima plan a date for us and prove to you that I want to be with you." She said looking up at me. I got a little excited and I think she can tell."Ouu when?" I said now being invested."On Monday after school Ima pick you up at 6." Is all she said."Where we going?" I asked. She gave me a small smile before getting up."I can't tell you my love but im going to make it as special as possible." "Okay baby, Where you going??" I asked since it seems like she's getting ready to leave."Im going back home i told my mom ill be back by dinner time." She said. I looked at the time on my phone and it was already 7:30. Damn time flys.I nodded and got up to go walk her to the door. We got to the door and started saying are goodbyes."Bye Yana." She said with a smile."Bye Mari." I said also giving her a kiss on the cheek. She left and i locked the door and headed back to my room.

"Maybe we can actually work this out". I said to myself.
