❝ oh god it's just not fair of him to make me feel this much. ❞

Olive left six days ago and I haven't seen Charles in two.

Olive's leaving was a complete heartbreak. It actually hurt saying goodbye again. We promised to see each other during the summer but we both know it's going to be basically impossible.

But I'm definitely having her over at the US Grand Prix weekend. If I could, I'd take her in the car with me too.

Now, she said she was gonna try and attend one of my earlier Grand Prix's with our uncle. But it's really hard with the money and all other factors.

Last I heard of Charles, we were working out together. He made me forget all about not having a single member of my family around and actually being alone in what is going to be the single, most greatest part of my life.

We actually spent four hours at the gym that day. And I haven't talked to him since. Except tonight, is the night I'm supposed to accompany him to his friend's dinner thing.

CHARLIE

heyy
are we still on for tonight?

hey freckles

okay
just one question

i still don't know what to wear

dw about it
u'll know

huh
what does that mean?

just trust me
i'm training and my coach is gonna

i still don't know what to wear...
but enjoy training i guess!?

see u freckles😘

I'm going to be overthinking that outfit for the rest of the day. I'm just getting out of my training with my same performance coach since F2.

He's nice, but strict when necessary. I like him. He's the only guy who was actually excited to work with a girl in motorsports.

He doesn't treat me any differently than he would another driver. He pushes me to the edge and more until I can't breathe. And that's what I like most about him. He doesn't go easy on me.

I'm walking back home now to take a shower that is going to be followed by heading to the Mercedes offices of Monaco for a meeting with Toto and Lewis, one week before the first testing of the season.

I still have a good two hours before having to be there so I take my time in getting ready and having a proper breakfast since all I had was just a pre-workout snack before leaving this morning.

I take my time, enjoying the warmth of the water falling on me and the music blasting from my speaker. I keep the music on as I do my skincare routine and make breakfast.
