We just landed in Lebanon and Maisie is already freaking out. I don't really get why. She's completely shaking and I'm trying my best to keep her still but it's becoming harder and harder.

I don't know if she's stressed or overhyped. Or a mix of both.

We're completely undercover as we walk through the airport. I'm wearing a cap with a mask and sunglasses while she has a scarf wrapped around her head with sunglasses too.

She almost covered Willow too but I convinced her not to become crazy.

She said we probably won't get recognized anyway as the airport is tiny, hot and most oftenly over crowded that no one really looks at the other, they just want to get the baggages and get the fuck out.

And she is right for now. As we get to baggage claim there's barely six different stations but a lot of people. And no one bats an eye on anyone else.

I wanted to go to the toilet but not only did she strongly dis-recommend, she full on banned me from going. Apparently it's the most disgusting place in the country in there.

Since we're sky priority, our baggages come firstly and we escape pretty quickly. Once we get out and through the doors, a hot wave of heat instantly hits.

"You thought Monaco was hot? Welcome to Lebanon in summer." I know she's faking a smile under the material, looking up at me.

She leads the way to the parking lot where her older cousin, Nour, Olive's sister, left her car for us to use while she's at her internship or something like that.

We walk on the street as Maisie looks for the car while holding onto Willow's leach, and I walk beside, rolling our baggages behind me.

Once she finds the car, I start wondering how the fuck are we going to drive it without having the keys? I'm about to ask but Maisie suddenly bends down and reaches for something under the car.

She gets the keys out and holds them up. "Old trick of ours." She tells me. So that's that, I guess...

"Okay then." I chuckle before going to the back of the Jeep and she unlocks the trunk for me to put our suitcases in.

We get in the car and she starts talking. "Okay so, my uncle and Liv's plane doesn't get here for another two hours. And they have the keys to the beach house because Nour seems to have forgotten to give us the extra key she has to that house which is where we'll be staying." She starts up.

"So...?"

"We can't just go knocking on my mom's door and ask her for them." She points out, starting up the engine. "So you're about to witness a break-in." She adds casually. "Ta my uncle's house to wait for them there because the beach house is unbreakable in."

My head turns. "What!?"

"You've never broken in anywhere?" She questions as if it's a normal thing. I shake my head no. "We're about to break a lot of rules here so, gear up." She smiles looking at me as she pulls the car out of parking.

This is gonna be an interesting week.

I watch as the girl I'm in love with stands on the edge of her neighbors balcony so she can jump to the small space in front of her window. It's so small you can't even consider it a balcony.

"Maisie, stop it!" I yell. She's not far up, only one flight up but it's still dangerous. Willow joins me as she barks at her owner too.

The old woman, who's the neighbor looks down at me from the window. "Don't worry, darling, she's done this a lot of times before." She attempts to reassure me with that warm grandma smile.
