I knock on Charles's room door, remembering that he wanted to talk to me.

After the podium, I was rushed to interviews and then celebrated with the team for a solid hour. Lewis and I managed to throw Toto in the pool, funniest thing I ever did, let me tell you.

I then went out to dinner with my uncle and Sarah, the three of us and of course Willow accompanied us. It's now eleven pm and the boys have insisted to take me out, celebrate.

Toto gave me the green light to get shit-faced if I desired so, making an exception since I just basically made history.

Leaving my room, I remembered Charles. I texted him to see if he was still awake and he said yes. So here I am, at his door, waiting for him to open before meeting my three guys to get out.

When he opens the door, his mouth basically drops open. I frown. What's wrong with him? Do I have a snake on my face or something?

I look down at myself, nothing seems wrong. Ohh. Maybe he's confused as to why I'm so dressed up.

I'm wearing a pretty short dress, strapless black dress that fits tightly on my body. It's covered in shiny sequins, which make it sparkle. The bottom has a small ruffle, and there are openings on the sides with a bow in the back, a bigger version of the one in my hair. And strappy black heels.

"You look beautiful, Freckles." He finally speaks, making my blood rush right to my cheeks.

I lightly smile, looking at him. He's dressed up too. Black pants and white button up shirt with white sneakers, as if he too is going out.

"Thanks, Charlie." I mumble back. I want to compliment him back, because he looks so fucking beautiful but I have no idea how to say it. I'm too scared to. "You... you clean up well."

He chuckles, thanking me while I pinch myself in my mind for the completely horrible attempt. "Where are you going?" He questions before I can.

"The guys and I are going clubbing. You wanna join?" I ask, even though it looks like he probably has plans of his own.

"Some of the other guys and I are going out too, so I'm guessing we're going to see you anyway." He doesn't stop smiling as he looks at me.

He's always smiling. He's such a ray of sunshine. I could just eat him up. But I won't!

"Okay..." I nod my head, losing track of why I'm here. Getting myself back together I clear my throat. "Oh, yeah. You wanted to talk to me earlier?" I recall.

He shakes his head yes. "Yeah, come in, just a sec." He steps back, leading the way inside his room. I'm confused but do as he says.

What's so important he wants me in his room?

"So..." He starts up, closing the door behind me as I stand inside, looking at him and waiting for his words. "I know you said it'll never happen again..." He starts, coming closer to me, "But this is my way of congratulating you on your first win."

I raise an eyebrow, "What—?"

I can't even finish my sentence when I feel his arms holding my waist, pulling me closer to him, and pressing his lips on mine, making me drop my purse to the ground.
