on the verge of another panic attack —or better yet a heart attack. "How could you let this happen?" Rory shouted, running a hand down her face as she paced back and forth in Sam's room.
"Me?" Sam huffed, "Why are you blaming me? It wasn't my fault. Bert's the one who had the money."
"He's 14 years old Sam," Rory said pointedly, "He shouldn't have been in charge of carrying around 2 grand—much less on his freaking bike."
"I shouldn't have had to babysit him. He's not a baby." Sam retorted, "Instead of arguing about who had what —we need to figure out what we're going to do now."
"Okay, okay." Rory placed her hands on her hips, "What do you propose we do?"
Sam avoided eye contact, "You're not going to like it."
Rory laughed despite herself, "It can't be worse than what we already have which is absolutely nothing so I'm all ears."
"We need to get Miyagi-do back together and start training again—"
"No!" The taller brunette said firmly, "Absolutely not—"
"Come on Rory—" Sam tried to reason, "Cobra Kai hasn't stopped training since the fight, we're way behind and—"
"Are you insane?" Rory clipped, "Fighting each other is literally the reason why we're in this mess now. There has to be another way. I meant what I said when I was done with Karate."
"Don't you see—There isn't another way. Today was just another example of that." Sam narrowed her eyes at Rory, "Cobra Kai takes what they want whenever they want just because they think they can. I mean, They beat this shit out of Bert and stole the money —and they took his freaking bike for crying out loud. Tell me, does that seem fair to you?"
