The search for the right school for Roohi had been a priority for Rudraksh ever since her first day at school. He knew that finding a place that would not only provide a good education but also cater to her emotional and developmental needs was crucial. With that in mind, he began researching schools around London, seeking recommendations from trusted friends and advisors.

After days of sifting through options and visiting various schools, Rudraksh finally found one that seemed perfect for Roohi—a well-regarded institution known for its nurturing environment and strong academic program. The school had a reputation for balancing rigorous academics with a focus on individual growth and creativity, which aligned with Rudraksh’s vision for Roohi’s education.

One crisp morning, Rudraksh and Roohi visited the school for a tour. As they walked through the halls, Rudraksh couldn’t help but notice how Roohi’s eyes sparkled with curiosity and excitement. She eagerly explored the colorful classrooms and engaging playground, her earlier shyness replaced by visible enthusiasm.

Rudraksh met with the principal, Mrs. Ellis, who explained the school’s philosophy and approach to education. “We believe in creating a supportive and stimulating environment for our students,” Mrs. Ellis said. “Our goal is to foster both academic and personal growth, ensuring that each child feels valued and encouraged.”

Rudraksh was impressed by Mrs. Ellis’s vision and the school’s facilities. He looked at Roohi, who was engrossed in a conversation with a teacher about the art supplies in the classroom. Her bright smile and animated gestures were all the confirmation he needed.

After the tour, Rudraksh decided that this would be the right place for Roohi. He filled out the necessary paperwork and was informed that Roohi would have a placement test to assess her readiness for the school’s curriculum.

The day of Roohi’s placement test arrived. Rudraksh had prepared her as best as he could, making sure she felt confident and ready. He spent the evening before the test reviewing simple concepts with her in a fun and engaging way, using games and interactive exercises to keep her interest piqued.

That morning, as they prepared to leave for the test, Rudraksh knelt beside Roohi and spoke to her gently. “Remember, Roohi, this is just to see how much you know and where you might need a bit of help. Just try your best, and have fun with it.”

Roohi nodded, a mix of excitement and nervousness in her eyes. “I’ll do my best, Papa.”

Rudraksh smiled and gave her a reassuring hug before they headed out.

At the school, Roohi was taken to a bright, welcoming room where she would take the test. Rudraksh stayed nearby, ensuring she felt comfortable and was not overwhelmed. He observed through a window as Roohi settled into the task, her concentration evident as she worked through the questions.

After the test, Roohi emerged with a relieved smile. “It wasn’t too hard, Papa. I think I did okay.”

Rudraksh took her hand and led her outside, where they stopped for a treat to celebrate her effort. As they enjoyed ice cream together, Rudraksh couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride and love for his daughter.

The following week, the school informed Rudraksh that Roohi had passed the placement test with flying colors. She would be starting in the upcoming semester, and Rudraksh’s heart swelled with a mixture of pride and relief.

As they prepared for her first day at the new school, Rudraksh and Roohi spent time organizing her new school supplies and picking out outfits. It was a new chapter for both of them, filled with opportunities and growth.

Rudraksh looked at Roohi with a sense of contentment. “You’re going to do great, Roohi. I’m so proud of you.”

Roohi beamed up at him, her excitement for the new school year shining through. “Thank you, Papa. I’m excited too!”

With a final check of her school bag and a kiss on the forehead, Rudraksh felt ready to embrace this new beginning for his daughter, knowing that no matter what challenges came their way, they would face them together.
