The night was thick with tension as the group made their way to the outskirts of the city. The old warehouse loomed ahead, its dark silhouette barely visible against the cloudy night sky. It was a grim, foreboding structure, surrounded by a high fence topped with barbed wire. The faint sounds of muffled voices and distant clanging could be heard from within. This was the place.
Mia, her face pale but resolute, pointed towards a narrow alleyway that led around the back. "There's a side entrance," she whispered. "Less guarded. It's how they bring in the new fighters and... the girls."
Akshat nodded, signaling for the group to move quietly. "Alright, everyone," he murmured. "We go in quiet. Stick to the shadows and avoid any unnecessary confrontations. Our priority is to get to Roohi and the other children. Once we have them, we'll deal with Nicholas and his men."
Abhay turned to Arjun, his voice firm and urgent. "Arjun, stay with Mia. Arjun nods and his eyes scan the surroundings, alert to any movement.
As the group moved stealthily through the maze-like corridors of the warehouse, their footsteps barely made a sound on the concrete floor. The air was heavy with the smell of sweat, blood, and fear. As they moved deeper into the building, they could hear the sounds of a crowd - cheering, shouting, the unmistakable noise of a brutal fight in progress.
They reached a large metal door at the end of the corridor. Akshat pressed his ear against it, listening. The noise from the fight was louder now, punctuated by the roars of the crowd. He signaled for the group to stay quiet as he slowly opened the door.
The room beyond was filled with a chaotic mix of cheers, shouts, and the dull thud of fists hitting flesh. A makeshift fighting ring was set up in the center, surrounded by a jeering crowd. In the ring, two fighters were locked in combat, their bodies glistening with sweat and blood.
Nicholas stood at the edge of the ring, his cold eyes surveying the scene with satisfaction. His presence was commanding, and he radiated a dangerous confidence. Nearby, a few guards kept a watchful eye on the crowd.
Rudraksh's hand tightened on his weapon. "We need to find Roohi," he whispered. "And we need to do it now."
Karan nods, Mia mentions, the girls are kept in the holding cells downstairs,"Along with the other girls. It's where they keep them before... before they're sold."
Abhay looked at the group, his face set with determination. "Alright, here's the plan. Karan and Akshat, you two head downstairs and find the children. If Roohi's there, get her out. Update us immediately if she's not."
Karan nodded, his face serious. "Understood."
Akshat added, "We'll get them out as quickly as possible."
Abhay turned to Rudraksh. "Rudraksh and I will handle Nicholas up here. We need to make sure he doesn't escape or cause any more harm."
Rudraksh glanced at Nicholas, who was still restrained but glaring at them with malevolent intent. "Let's make this quick. We don't know how much time we have."
With their roles assigned, the group moved into action. Karan and Akshat hurried down the stairs, their footsteps echoing in the narrow corridor. The sounds of muffled cries and distant shuffling grew louder as they approached the holding cells.
Meanwhile, Abhay and Rudraksh positioned themselves strategically, ready to confront Nicholas.
Nicholas sneered at them. "You think you can just waltz in here and take what you want? This is my domain."
Abhay's eyes were cold and unyielding. "Your reign of terror ends tonight, Nicholas. You've taken too much from us already."
The tension in the room was palpable as Abhay and Rudraksh prepared for the confrontation, while Karan and Akshat raced against time to free the children and find Roohi.
