" Tell me you don't love me, and I won't ever show you my face. Push me away so hard that I'd stumble to even look at you. " He leaned closer to my face. " Push me before I kiss you, before I cherish every inch of you. " His palm trace...

TAEHYUNG'S POV
The 626 Night Market in LA is one of the best things. Neon lights from vendor signs flickered against the night sky, casting a colorful glow over the sea of people strolling past food stalls, artisan booths, and live performances.
The nostrils were filled with the aroma of mouth-watering scent of grilled meat, sizzling seafood, and sugary treats, making it nearly impossible to decide where to start.
This market was more than just a festival, it was a sensory overload.
"This place is huge." Vesta said beside me, smiling as she took it all in. She held onto my arm.
"It is." I agreed, scanning the scene in front of us. "I don't think we'll even get to see everything, but we'll try."
We started moving through the crowd, the sounds of laughter, music, and sizzling food blending together. I felt a sense of freedom I hadn't experienced in a while, and it felt good. It was one of those rare nights where one could forget about work.
"Food first?" she suggested looking towards a row of food trucks lined up along the market's edge.
"Absolutely expected from you. Lets go. " I agreed.
We wandered up to a few different stalls. The first place we stopped at had a line that stretched down the street, but the sight of the skewered meats and smoky aroma convinced us to wait.
"What do you think?" I asked, glancing at the menu. "Chicken or steaks ?"
"Let's get one of each." Vesta said decisively. "We're here to try everything, right?"
I couldn't argue with that logic. After what felt like forever, we finally got our hands on a few skewers, and we stepped off to the side to eat. The meat was perfectly grilled, charred just enough on the outside but still juicy and tender inside. I watched her took her first bite, her eyes lighting up in approval.
"This is so good." she said between bites, already reaching for the next skewer.
"Agreed." I replied, savoring the flavor. "It's been a while since we did something like this."
She nodded, pausing for a moment as if taking in the moment. "I'm glad we did. We both needed a break."
After finishing the food, we moved on to another row of vendors. This time, we found a stall selling enormous bowls of ramen. The vendor, a cheerful older woman, handed us two steaming bowls with a smile.
We found a spot at a standing table and dug in. The broth was rich and savory, with just the right amount of spice, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Vesta sighed happily after the first sip, and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"You're really enjoying this, huh?"
She looked at me, her expression serious for a moment. "I am. It feels good to just be here. No deadlines, no stress. Just this."
