*This chapter has been edited with minor changes
A/N: Hai new readers (and old) after being on and off of hiatus for probably a million times now, I officially decided that I'm going to re-edit the chapters, take out the A/N's, and change a few of the characters names (possibly). I'm not changing the plot a lot, besides for a few minor points, but they won't change the big plot in general :]. I also realized that after I edited the chapters, there's still a few grammar mistakes that I made and I also have to remind myself that I was 12 when I started this story and I'm not 15 hah lol. Anyways, enjoy c;
Disclaimer: I do not own Divergent, the wonderful Veronica Roth does.
Tris POV
I'm awoken by the sound of movement. I peek out from under the covers and I see Tobias in the kitchen making coffee. It's been two months since the war against Erudite and Abnegation. My parents, Caleb- even Susan is dead. I still mourn over the loss of my loved ones, although I am lucky that Tobias and I weren't involved in the war, and my friends who are basically my family now. No one knows that Tobias and I are Divergent, and we hope to keep it that way.
Initiation finished a little over a year ago, and we all chose our jobs. Christina and I chose to be initiation instructors with Tobias and Lauren, while Uriah and Peter chose to be Dauntless leaders- yes Peter. We've gotten over our anger towards each other since initiation, and so far things have gone smoothly. But sometimes I don't trust him because I still get nightmares from that night I was assaulted. Lynn and Marlene chose to work in the infirmary together and be nurses, and Will chose to work in the control room with Tobias. I work in the tattoo parlor with Tori when Tobias is at work, while Christina works in a clothing store.
"Good Morning." I smiled as Tobias walked back into the room with a cup of coffee.
"Good Morning my lovely Trissy-poo." He said as he handed me the cup.
I whacked him with the pillow and he grinned, almost spilling the coffee.
"You know how much I hate that nickname!" I exclaimed while gladly sipping the coffee.
"Oh sorry, I almost forgot. It's not like I'm reminded everyday about it." He said sarcastically.
"You're so sassy when you want to be." I said and I rolled my eyes.
"Are you ready for today? This is your first year training" He asked serious.
"Eh, not really, I'm kind of nervous about being an instructor. I hope there aren't any Candor-smart mouths this year though." I admitted.
Tobias smirked. "Trust me; there are at least two every year." he said.
"Great." I responded sarcastically.
"You should be getting ready Tris, it's 7:30." Tobias said looking at his watch.
"Oh my gosh, Holy crap! Why didn't you tell me? Were you really just going to let us be late on the first day of training?" I asked incredulously as I got out of bed and set the mug on my nightstand.
"I thought you already knew, sorry." Tobias replied apologetically.
I ran into the bathroom to shower and I quickly got dressed. I decided on wearing a black tank top that lightly shows my collarbone, black leggings, and black lace up combat boots. I quickly applied eyeliner and a little bit of mascara to brighten up my eyes. I opened the bathroom door and found Tobias waiting for me at the door.
"Well that was quick." He said smiling.
"Yeah, well I don't want to be late on the first day." I smiled.
I gave him a quick peck on the cheek and together, we walked to the net to meet Christina and Lauren. Tobias and I approached the net to find Lauren and Christina waiting for us.
"What took you love birds so long? It's 7:58" Lauren asked with a smile.
I was just about to answer, and then suddenly we saw a body fall from the sky. Tobias helped the boy off of the net and I noticed their clothes. Blue- Erudite. Suddenly tears started to form in my eyes but I blinked them away.
"Name" I asked, ignoring the pain in my chest.
"Ethan." he said confidently, his blond hair hair sticking up and his glasses hanging, crooked.
"Make the announcement Four." I told Tobias while looking at him.
"First jumper-Ethan." Tobias yelled grabbing Ethan's arm and holding it up.
I hear cheering and multiple feet stomping after Tobias announced Ethan's name.
After the rest of the initiates jump down from the roof, at the end there are 9 Dauntless-borns, and 8 transfers: 2 Erudite, 3 Candor, 2 Amity, and surprisingly 1 Abnegation transfer this year.
Ethan Matthers- Erudite
Nick Barakat- Erudite
Emily Lewis- Candor
Madelynn Fitzgerald- Candor
Bryce O'Connell- Candor
Grace Coverney- Amity
Faith Coverney- Amity
And David Trautman- Abnegation
"Dauntless-born initiates, follow Lauren and Christina. Transfers, follow Four and I." I said while pointing towards Lauren and Christina. Surprisingly there are no questions about our names being numbers this year.
"Now, we're going to start the tour. Let's go before there's no food left." I joked, and we all started towards the Pit.
A/N: If there are any re-readers then you may notice that I changed the twins names (Kayla and Jayla) to Grace and Faith and Jacob to Nick. I did this, because I feel like Grace and Faith fits them better, and I realized that most of my characters start with the same name and that can get confusing sometimes lol. Also, I honestly know what I was thinking when I made a character my own name (oops) xD hah. Also, just a reminder Grace=Kayla, Faith=Jayla :]

The Divergent Epilogue
FanfictionThis story is about the characters in Divergent after the war happened. Tris's parents, Susan, Caleb, and some of Abnegation are dead. Dauntless had nothing to do with the war, therefore Will is alive, but Al isn't. Lots of fluff, drama, and action...
