*This chapter has been edited with minor changes.
A/N: Hey initiates! I'm back with a new update, and this one is going up on Friday because I already had it written before so why not? Lol anyways, let's get on with the update; starting with David's POV :] Also I'm going to start each chapter with a song and end it with a question I don't know why but it seems fun to me hah. The song doesn't necessarily have to do anything with the chapter, but it's mostly the song I was listening to, when I wrote the chapter. I always tend to listen to music because it makes my mind think hah.
Disclaimer: I do not own Divergent, the wonderful Veronica Roth does.
Counting Stars- One Republic
David POV
After Madi left with Jackson, Jackson, and Mackenzie; I instantly finished eating and I threw away the leftover food and I took off to go search for my best friends. I headed towards the dorms first because I figured that they'll probably be in there. I opened the door to the transforms dorm and I saw the twins sitting on one of their beds, excitedly talking and laughing. Grace turned her head at the sound of the door opened and she noticed the somber expression on my face. Faith turned at Grace's change in view and studied me also.
"Spill." Faith bluntly asked.
I softly chuckled and I walked into the dorm, leaving the door open.
"I honestly don't know. They only told us that Colton was hurt." I replied sitting on the bed.
"Who are they and us?" Grace asked curiously.
"Jackson, Macy, Mackenzie; and Madi." I stated.
"Are you and Madi a thing?" Kayla asked thrilled.
"I don't know, I don't want to rush things. Although, you guys didn't have a problem with that though." I responded cheekily.
Both of them frowned simultaneously and I smirked.
"Who can resist sexy teenage guys who like you back; it's harder than you think when we're both ugly." Faith responded.
I quickly shook my head at them. "You guys aren't ugly, and please don't call Ethan and Bryce sexy; they're like my brothers." I replied as my body horrifyingly shook at Faith's description.
"Thanks David." Grace smiled.
"It's my job to be nice; I'm the only sane one. Oh yeah and for the record, I thought you guys were pretty when we first met." I admitted.
"Hah, don't say that again or Bryce would think you're on to us." Faith replied chuckling.
"You're right, I would." An enraged voice stated.
We all turned around to see Bryce and Ethan standing in the doorway. Where were they? I thought. I saw Bryce's lips twitched slightly, and I knew that he was joking. Ethan stared at Grace blankly, but I saw him roll his eyes swiftly at Bryce.
"Bryce, it's not what you think." Faith swiftly said, holding up her hands and walking towards Bryce.
Bryce walked towards her and they stopped. There was a moment of silence until Bryce immediately started howling. Faith huffed and slapped Bryce on his arm. Bryce stopped laughing and we all looked at each other. We erupted in guffaws at what happened until I spoke.
"Oh yeah by the way, Colton's injured. Madi and I were eating lunch until Jackson, Macy, and Mackenzie told us about Colton. We should go to the infirmary to see if he's okay, because that's the right thing to do." I stated while looking at the twins and they nodded.
