Tris POV

After Tobias and I finished showing the transfers the Pit, we showed them the dining hall and we went inside to eat. As soon as we walked inside, people started cheering as they saw this year's' initiates. The transfers started to break off into small groups. Ethan, Nick, and Bryce walked towards a table. Emily, Madelynn, Grace, and Faith sat at the table next to them, and David decided to join Ethan's group.

I smiled- I'm so glad that he's already starting to make friends around here, he seems like he belongs in Dauntless. I sat with my usual group of friends which included: Christina, Uriah, Zeke, Tobias, Shauna, and Peter.

"How are these years' initiates?" Uriah asked, while eating a piece of chocolate cake.

"Good, there are no Candor-smart mouths this year- so far." Tobias answered.

"How long do you think the Stiff's going to last?" Peter joked while glancing at David.

"I'll have you know Peter, I came in 1st place in initiation and I was a Stiff, Candor" I said while I rolled my eyes.

"David seems like he will last. He's tall and skinny but he looks powerful." Tobias said sticking up for David, and I nodded.

"Hah yeah right, you have to be kidding me! He looks like a freaking toothpick." Christina said with a laugh.

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see what he can do. It's not right to judge a book by its cover./" Zeke spoke up.

"You're right, I'm small and I sucked at fighting but I still passed initiation by a landslide. If it wasn't for Four's help I would probably be factionless right now." Shauna admitted, looking down at her food.

Just then Eric and Lauren approached the table hand in hand. I squirmed in my seat as I watched them sit down and kiss. I cleared my throat and gave them a pointed look.

"Do you have a problem with us being a couple Stiff?" Eric asked.

"I'm not a stiff anymore Eric and no. I'm just trying to avoid barfing all over my food thank you very much." I said sarcastically.

"Someone still isn't over PDA I see. I thought you got over that fear Six." Christina joked.

Everyone at the table laughed. After everyone's done eating; Christina, Lauren, Tobias and I got up from the table to throw away our leftover food. We threw the trash in the trashcan and we motioned for the initiates to follow us so we could show them their dorms. The initiates followed us down the hallway and we approached the dorms. Christina and Lauren led the dauntless born inside their dorm, across the hall, and Tobias and I opened the transfer's dorm. Tobias and I walked inside, and the transfers followed.

"There are 7 beds in the dorm and 8 of you. One of you will be left without a bed so if I were you I'd grab a bed while you can." Tobias spoke in authority.

None of them moved except for David; smart guy I see.

"Did you guys go death or are you waiting for your legs to magically move?" I yelled loudly and stifled a laugh as I watched the initiates scramble to find a bed.

Bryce is the one left without a bed.

"Tomorrow we will begin training, I suggest that you be in the dining hall for dinner and stuff yourself while you can; tomorrow is going to be a busy day. We also suggest that you try to get sleep and here's a tip, try not do anything that would boost your chances of making you factionless." I said conservationally.

I grinned as I saw the terror written all over the initiates faces. The new rule in Dauntless is that after stage 2, no one will be cut. All you have to do is make it past stage 1 and you're guaranteed a spot in Dauntless. Tobias, Christina, Lauren, and I agreed that we shouldn't tell the initiates this, because we all want them to try their best.

"Be in the training room tomorrow at 8 am sharp, or we will do something to you to make sure that you're there the next day on time." Tobias threatened.

After that Tobias closed the door we and walked back to our apartment. When we arrived to the apartment, Tobias unlocked the door and closed it, making sure that the door is locked. We've been careful about making sure the door is locked ever since the war happened. We walked into our bedroom and I changed into a long t-shirt and shorts. I climbed into bed and wrapped myself around Tobias. I laid my head on his chest and sighed, finally feeling today's events on my body.

"Tomorrow is when the real training starts." Tobias said through a yawn.

"I can't wait to scare the initiates; I've been looking forward to that." I said with a laugh.

"Hmm... that's probably the best part about initiation, scaring the initiates." Tobias said with a smirk in his voice.

"I wonder if anyone's divergent." I think aloud.

"Maybe, we won't be able to tell though unless they tell us." Tobias said

I don't remind him that he figured out my Divergence pretty easily.

"I think we should go to sleep. I don't want to be late tomorrow morning; that would make us look bad." I joked.

Tobias laughed and he reached over onto his nightstand to turn off the lamp. He turned the knob and he leaned down to kiss me on my forehead. I smiled and I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Goodnight, Tris." Tobias said.

"Goodnight, Tobias." I mumbled while closing my eyes.
