Hi initiates, are you wondering what happened when Braith left? (Bryce and Faith). Read on to find out!
Disclaimer: I do not own Divergent, the wonderful Veronica Roth does. (But I do own some of the characters.)
Bryce POV
I ran out of the training room and after Faith. She suddenly turned into an abandoned hallway and abruptly stopped. I slowly walked towards her, and I heard her sniffling. My chest suddenly felt like it cracked, knowing that I'm the reason why she's crying.
"Go away Bryce! Stop following me around everywhere." Faith mumbled between sniffs.
"No, I'm sorry but I can't do that Faith. I didn't run after you last night, so I'm doing it now." I responded while walking closer to her. I was directly behind her when she spoke.
"Why didn't you run after me? You can't just tell someone that you love them and let them walk away. What, did you go run off with Sarah?" Faith finally asked, while turning around.
I felt my jaw clench and I ignored my own temper. We can't keep arguing like this, it's become exhausting for me.
"No I didn't go after Sarah. I needed time to think." I stated calmly.
"About what? What is there to possibly think about?" Faith asked as she frantically threw her hands up in despair.
"About you, us, and how or if this is going to work out." I responded matter-of-factly.
"Bryce there is no"
I pulled her closer to me by her waist and I tenderly kissed her. I instantly felt an electric volt go through my body, mostly my lower half. I felt Faith smile against my cheek, which caused me to grin. I placed my hands on her long curly hair and I felt her fingers run through my hair. This kiss feels nothing like the one Sarah's did. It's neither plain nor boring, it feels meaningful. Faith's the first one to pull away, leaving me wanting more. We stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to say, until we started laughing.
"Let's go back to the dorms?" I suggest, looking Faith in the eye while grabbing her hand.
"I'd like that." Faith responded while laughing. She intertwined her fingers with mine and I gently squeezed her hand

We walked hand in hand back to the dorms, and when I opened the door, I saw Ethan and Grace sitting on Ethan's bed, talking. Their heads turned towards the door, and their eyes shifted downward to our joined hands. A huge smile suddenly breaks across Grace's face, and she jumped off of Ethan's bed.
"I knew it! I knew you two have a thing for each other. See, twins know best." Grace declared happily while jumping up and down.
"Grace, anyone could see they like each other." Ethan stated as he shook his head, although I saw his lips twitch.
"Calm down sis, you're acting like you just won the lottery." Faith added, ignoring Ethan's comment.
I chuckled at my friends and I stride over to Faith's bunk. I sat down on her bed and I pulled her onto my lap, giving her my usual charming smile. We sat on her bed, talking for a few minutes until we heard a knock on the door. I picked Faith up off of me, and we went over to the door to open it. I opened up the door and I saw Tate and Colton standing outside, both of them wearing identical grins.
"Sup guys, grab Grace, and Ethan. We're getting out of here." Tate spoke, and his eyes screamed danger.
"What about David?" I asked, realizing that he wasn't in the dorm. I swear that guy is like a ninja sometimes.
"He's with Madi; the rest of the squad is coming too." Colton answered smoothly.
"Uh okay, we'll meet you at the tracks in 5." I said, looking back at Ethan and Grace.
"Okay then, we'll see you guys then." Colton responded while looking at Tate.
They walked away and I shut the door.
"Where do you think we're going?" Ethan asked, while grabbing a jacket.
"I don't know. But it involves trains." I shrugged, just as confused as Ethan.
We walked out of dorms and out of the compound to the train tracks, laughing and talking. We reached the train to see Tate, Colton, Sarah, Macy, Jake, Jason, Jackson, Madi, David, and Mackenzie waiting for us. Everyone looked at Faith and I, and some of them smirked.
"Thank god, it's about time." David declared surprisingly loud, and Madi swatted him on the stomach.
"David have some manners and be nice!" Madi defended.
"Aw, you guys are cute." Mackenzie commented.
"But we're cuter." Jason added, and he pulled her towards him and gave her a passionate kiss.
Cue the groaning.
We waited for the train to come and we all jump on, I almost landed on my feet, but I landed on my knees. Close enough I thought. Once we're all settled in the train, I looked around and I saw a few older members on the train too. I looked at everyone confused.
"So, where are we going?" Grace asked, confused.
All of the dauntless-borns looked at each other and started snickering.
"We're going zip lining." Macy finally spoke, with a mischievous grin on her face.
"What's that?" Faith asked confused.
"Don't worry, you'll see." Mackenzie responded with a grinning wink.
A/N: There ya go lol. I'm thinking about making the next chapter about the zip lining. Until next time :) Follow, Review, and Fave as always.
