A/N: Hi initiates! I just wanted to say that I'm soooooo soooooo sooooo sorry for not updating recently. School has been really busy for me and I didn't have time to update. I hope that you will forgive me because that would make me very happy :)
Disclaimer: I do not own Divergent, the wonderful Veronica Roth does.
Grace POV
"Hey I think she's waking up." A familiar male voice exclaimed happily.
"Oh please Ethan! She's dead." A familiar female voice retorted matter-of-factly.
I opened my eyes, and I saw Ethan, Faith, Bryce, and David standing around my bed. My eyes widen at the sight of where I am, the infirmary. Why the hell am I here? The last thing I remembered was zip-lining and then- oh I remember now, I fell out of the sling.
"You're awake!" Faith exclaimed while lunging at me, embracing me in a hug. Her perfume blinded me, and I pulled away.
"Ouch." I exclaimed and winced as my head started throbbing.
"Oh sorry, I forgot that you just woke up." Faith stated smiling, happy to see that I'm awake.
I quickly reached up to touch my head but Ethan's hand grabbed my hand and stopped me.
"Grace, you have a concussion. I don't think it's the best idea to touch your head." Ethan stated scientifically.
"Besides, look at you." David added while handing me a mirror off of the dresser.
"Hey!" Ethan yelled while swatting David's arm away from me.
I took the mirror, regardless of Ethan's attempts from David's hand and I raised it to my face. I gasped shocked. What the fuck happened to my face?! I didn't think this was that serious but apparently I was wrong.
"Oh cheer up; at least you're not dead. We all thought you were." Bryce mocked. Leave it to Bryce to joke in serious situations.
"She looks dead." Faith muttered under her breath.
"I heard that." I shouted.
A few minutes later, a nurse dressed in all black came into my room. Her eyes brightened when she looked towards me.
"I knew that you would wake up soon or later." The nurse declared
"When will I get released?" I asked, jumping straight to the point.
"Some time tomorrow, we want to make sure you get plenty of rest, and that your concussion isn't at risk." The nurse replied.
"Ugh." sighed Ethan.
I stifled a giggle as I admired my boyfriend. Whoa I thought, is my Amity side coming back? Faith, Ethan, Bryce, and David stayed for a few more minutes until they had to go back to the dorms because of curfew, and visiting hours were over. We said our goodbyes and I'm left alone in a cold hospital room. I stared at the wall and I huffed aloud. Now what am I going to do?
*The next day*
"So tell me how you ended up at the hospital again?" Tris asked while fighting back a smile.
"Well, they decided to take me zip-lining." I started while gesturing towards the dauntless-borns.
"Hey it's not entirely our fault! You should blame the guy who 'secured' you." Tate protested while putting air quotes around the word secure.
"That's partly true." I reasoned, and he smirked.
"She wouldn't have hit her head if you guys didn't invite us." Ethan defended me.
"Oh save it for your mommy." Colton joked.
"Tomorrow's visiting day." David stated changing the subject. I know that I can always count on David ending arguments before it gets crucial.
Suddenly, the room got quiet. Visiting Day (I heard) was often serious for transfers because they had the adrenaline when or if not their parents would come.
"Why so quiet?" Macy asked sarcastically, and we all gave her a pointed look.
Mackenzie elbowed Macy and shot her a look saying 'you know why and you're making this harder on them.' Macy smirked back at Mackenzie and turned towards the transfers.
"Just worried if our parents will come or not. They're not exactly fond of the Dauntless." Faith said.
"Nobody is, especially Amity." Madi pointed out.
"Obviously." I retorted.
"I think we should all go to bed, it's after 12." Four announced.
Everyone nodded and started to walk out of my room. We all said our goodbyes and headed our separate ways. I walked back to the transfer dorms with Ethan, Faith, Bryce, David, and the dauntless-borns. We walked into our dorms and I heard snores signaling that all the other transfers are asleep. I grabbed a change of clothes and head to the bathroom. I quickly changed out of my clothes, exhausted, and quietly headed back to the dorms. I opened the door and silently closed it. I walked towards my bunk careful not to make a sound. I climbed into my bunk and I started to doze off but I heard my name being called.
"Grace, are you awake?." Faith whispered.
I hesitantly answered back. "What?" I hastily whispered back annoyed.
"Do you think dad is going to visit us, you know after what happened to mom." Faith whispered slowly.
"I don't know; we just have to wait and see till tomorrow." I whispered back hopefully.
"Yea but-"
"Goodnight Faith." I cut her off.
I don't hear a response, so I rolled over on the side of my bunk and I quickly fell asleep.
A/N: Ooh what happened to their mom? You'll have to wait and see. I'll explain in the next chapter along with visiting day. Till next time. Fave, Review, and Follow as always.

The Divergent Epilogue
FanficThis story is about the characters in Divergent after the war happened. Tris's parents, Susan, Caleb, and some of Abnegation are dead. Dauntless had nothing to do with the war, therefore Will is alive, but Al isn't. Lots of fluff, drama, and action...
