A/N: Hai Initiates! Sorry for not updating last week, I had a very busy week and I had a lot of things going on so I'm sorry :c Anyways I'm going to try to add more Fourtris/Tribias in the story, I was just trying to let you guys see from the initiates POV because they do play a part in the story hah. Also I'm going to give you two updates this weekend (Friday + Saturday) for skipping a week, because that seems fair in my opinion. Anyway, on with the chapter! :]
(Also this takes place after Tris and Tobias talked to David on Visiting Day)
Disclaimer: I do not own Divergent, the wonderful Veronica Roth does.
Maybe Tonight- The Summer Set
Tris POV
After Tobias and I finished talking to David and Whitley, we walked out of the room and towards the cafeteria. Tobias snuck his arm around my waist and pulled me towards him. I looked up and smiled at him; he smiled back at me, and the bottom of my warmed and I felt my body shudder.
"What do you think of David's sister?" Tobias asked out of curiosity. The faint smirk on his lips signaled that he felt my reaction.
"She seems very Amityish, even though that's not a word." I laughed.
Tobias nodded his head in agreement. "Maybe she'll choose Amity, or Dauntless like David." Tobias responded.
"I don't know honestly, she seems fierce on the inside though." I stated thoughtfully.
We kept walking towards the cafeteria in comfortable silence. We arrived in front of the cafeteria, and Tobias opened the door for me. I smiled inside and I walked into the cafeteria. Tobias and I already ate earlier, so I searched the crowded cafeteria for my friends. I spotted Christina and she waved us over. I walked towards the table and I sat down next to Christina, while Tobias sat down beside me. I noticed that Shauna and Zeke were absent from the table.
"Did any of the transfers parents show up?" Christina asked cutting to the chase. The Candor in her never fully left I thought as I smirked.
"Yeah, most of them showed up. David's parents didn't show up, but his sister did." I responded.
"What is she like?" Uriah asked while chewing a hamburger. Marlene huffed and slapped his arm.
I fake-gagged at his actions and he rolled his eyes, amused.
"She's friendly." I stated, and every nodded; knowing what I meant.
"All of the dauntless-borns parents showed up." Lauren said while twisting her spaghetti with a fork.
"One would hope so." Peter said sarcastically.
I stifled an eye roll and locked eyes with Christina. We shared a look and we started chuckling.
"What's so funny?" Peter asked nonchalant.
"Nothing Peter." I responded, shaking my head.
Peter shrugged and continued eating. I looked at Tobias to see he was already staring at me. We stared for a few minutes until I felt awkward. I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes, and he jumped.
"What, what happened?" Tobias asked alert.
Everyone howled causing attention to our table, and I blushed.
"You seemed out of it." I responded looking down at the table.
Uriah howled louder and I gave him a silencing glare. He put his hands up in surrender and continued eating.
