Willows pov

"Hey!" Delilah storms over from the other side of the roof. "If you wanna expose them, you're gonna have to expose me first! Because I hired Leon to be my fiance too!"

Everyone lets out gasps of shock, Evelyn's brows furrow and her face drops. "Join the club, right?" I whisper, trying to lighten Ev's mood. "Not, the time Willow." she sighs but the tensing in her face softens slightly.

"Why can't you ever just shut up Delilah? This isn't about you! The whole world isn't about you!" Camilla grunts. "You're right! It's never about me. Not even on my damn wedding day!" Delilah says with a huff her brows furrowed in anger.

Camilla shakes her head. "Oh stop pretending it's a real wedding for goodness sake. I didn't think your dumbass would go through with it, But I guess I shouldn't have trusted a spoilt brat." She grunts.

Evelyn looks at me, her brows furrowed, I give her the same look back before she turns to Camilla. "Hold on!" I growl as I storm over. "Willow! What are you doing?!" Evelyn whisper yells.

"What do you mean 'didn't think she'd go through with it'?" My brows furrow, now standing face to face with Camilla... and the gun. "I never said that." She rolls her eyes as if I were stupid. "Yes, you did." I glare at her.

She shakes her head and waves the gun around slightly. "This... is fucking bullshit."

This is fucking bullshit... I recognise that.. it was her.

*flashback to chapter 20*

"No! I'm not doing it!" I hear an unknown voice say. "This... is fucking bullshit, man." Another voice says, I scramble and hide behind a barrel, looking for the source of the voice.

*end of flashback*

"It was you! That day in the cellar! You knew this whole time." I mumble she knew everything...

"I didn't 'know'. I made the whole thing happen." She laughs, ab evil laugh, like that you'd imagine the villain in a movie to use.

"You underestimated me, Willow. Just like everyone else did. Looks like you were born to be a Montgomery, whether the engagement was real or not." She laughs.

"Then- the story Evelyn told about the two of you in university.. you really did that to Natalia?" Delilah mumbles, watching the love in her eyes fade as she looked at Camilla was heartbreaking.

"I'm sorry for not telling you Delilah. It wasn't my place." Evelyn sighs softly. "After all we did to her, I didn't want to spread the story any further and I couldn't stand the thought of you looking at your sister the way you are now." Evelyn mumbles, tears welling in her eyes for the first time since we met.

"If I'd known she was such a dick I wouldn't have invited her." Delilah rolls her eyes. "You invited her?"Evelyn raises her voice slightly.

"If I'd known..." Delilah sighs "I just wanted our family to be whole again. And that's what Cam said she wanted too!"

"What does that mean?" Evelyn asks, her brows scrunched together and her eyes locked on Delilahs.

*flashback to a couple of months back, Delilahs pov*

"Miss Delilah! If you plan to visit your father, I believe he's in a meeting right now." The waiter says softly, a tray in his hand. "He'll make time for me," I say, a smug grin tugging at my lips.

I walk up the stairs to fathers office, pulling on the door handle... locked? "Um hello?" I huff, trying the door again. "I'm busy," Dad growls. "Too busy for your favourite daughter? I just want to talk." I whine.

"Go- talk to your mother!" He yells again. With a huff and stamp, I storm off. How rude of him to deny my attention! Ugh! I'll be sure to make him buy me a new bag or something for this.

I walk downstairs, checking around for Mother. I get out to the garden and she stands talking to the gardener. He's dirty, ew. "I just- don't understand why they can't be blue." Mother sighs as she looks at the rose bush.

"Because ma'am, Blue isn't a naturally occurring rose colour. We could dye the flowers—" "Heavens no! I want them naturally blue." Mother grunts, rolling her eyes.

"Ma'am-" the gardener goes to speak but I interrupt him. "Mother," I call out, glaring at her. "Oh, Delilah! You have no idea how happy I am to see you!" She smiles. "Really?" I smile back.

"Yes! Tell Jack-" "James.." The gardener interrupts and Mother rolls her eyes. "Tell him we need blue roses to match the family colours. Maybe you'll have more luck getting through to the idiot. It's like talking to a brick wall." She rolls her eyes as she walks away. "I need a nap."

I sigh slightly as I turn to walk away. "What do I do, Miss Montgomery?" The gardener calls out but I ignore him.

I walk into the house seeing Grandpa asleep on the couch. I am not gonna wake him up, I don't have a death wish. I keep walking, pulling out my phone and dialling Evelyn's number.

"You have reached Evelyn Montgomery's number. How may I assist you?" Her butler says and I grunt. "Ugh! Cut the formalities, Ev." I huff.

"Oh! Sorry miss Delilah, this is Felix-!" He speaks and I hang up.

*Felix pov*

"one extra large coffee with two sugars and an extra coffee shot! Is that all for today?" The bartender asks me and I nod. "Yes ma'am. thank you." The two ladies behind the counter served me practically every time Evelyn made me come here. I think one of their names was Althea... I may be wrong. Maybe Annabelle?

*Delilahs pov*

Ugh. Violet sleeping.. plus she'd rather be emo than talk to me. Idiot. Last resort...

I dial the one number I haven't for ages after letting it ring for a couple seconds... "Delilah!" The person gasps. "How's my favourite sister?" Camilla says cheerily, music blasting in the background. "I don't have much competition on that front." I huff.

"Fair point. What's happening?" She asks, sipping her drink as she leaves the loud room. "Not much. I'm just bored as hell." I whine, sitting myself on the window ledge.

"Oh come on, sis. I can tell somethings happening in that little mind of yours." She chuckles. "I just- I don't know. I feel ignored, dads always in meetings, moms harassing the gardener, ev won't answer the phone, and Violet is learning the guitar or- something. And you're.. actually, where are you? I can hear music. And the ocean." I question.

"I hopped on a plane from Canada to LA. Can't handle the cold anymore." She laughs. "But it's gonna be Christmas before you know it!" I whine. "Not that anyones gonna remember anyway. I'm sure Mom and Dad won't even get me a gift. They hate me. Everyone does." I whine.

*Camilla's pov.*

What a whiney bitch. Her voice goes right through me. "Cam? Are you there?" She whines again. I would rather listen to a fork scratching a plate than her voice. "Yeah.. just.."

I look over the beach, a man on one knee proposing to his girl. "A couple just got engaged." I huff.. engaged... "Now that's a way to get attention! A wedding! Imagine if they get married on Christmas too! The spotlight would be blinding." I grin.

"You- you're right." She mumbles. "I bet mom would have a field day if one of us got married. It'd bring the whole family together again." I sigh. "I- I have to go!" She says as she hangs up the phone.

"Hey em? You always wanted your own business right?" I grin and she nods, lifting her sunglasses. Her long black curly hair and brown eyes glimmered in the light. "Duh!"
