~Chapter 7~

"Sorry to interrupt, but your drinks," the waitress said as she returned to their table, carrying a tray of drinks and essentially saving Chan from making a fool of himself.

"Oh, thank god," Chan sighed as he accepted the glasses from her. "Thank you," they both said as she placed the ice bucket with the bottle of wine on the table. Using the corkscrew to pop it open and pour them both a decent glass.

"Ready to order," she asked after she finished, pulling her notepad back out.

"We hadn't thought of that, huh," Seungmin laughed, looking up at Chan.

"If you need more time.."

"No, we'll quickly look."

"I think I'll have pasta," Chan said, looking up to the waitress. "And steak for me," Seungmin chimed in.

"Perfect, pasta and streak; anything else for you both??"

"No, I think we're good,"

"Okay, it shouldn't be long," she smiled as she collected the menus from them.

"Thank you," they both said again as she departed from the table.

"I don't think I've ever had wine before," Chan laughed as he picked up the glass and let the liquid swirl around the cup.

"You don't have to drink if you don't want to," Seungmin said, picking up his glass and taking a sip.

"And let you drink alone," he laughed, matching his sip. "Oh, ha, that's actually not bad," he said, furrowing his eyebrows at the glass, licking the reminisce off his lips.

"I picked one of the expensive ones," he giggled, watching him cutely experience wine for the first time. You're really adorable, you know that, right," he honestly said.

"What, no, I'm not,"

"No, you are," he smiled. Right now, at the game, just talking on the phone," he listed.

"Stop," Chan said lowly, quickly getting embarrassed by the compliment.

"No, I'm not just teasing. I mean it," Seungmin assured him.

"I'm not normally shy like this," Chan started to say, trying to gather every last bit of confidence he had. But when you're sitting in a restaurant, across from the hottest guy you've ever seen, it gets hard to think straight," he shyly said.

"You think I'm hot," Seungmin softly, intrigued as he set his glass down.

"Yes, insanely," Chan vigorously nodded his head. Like a perfect mix of cute and hot, if that's even possible," he surely added, taking another big sip of his wine. "Why are you looking at me like that??" he nervously laughed.

"Because I really want you to take me home, but I promised you dinner," he sucked his teeth, leaning back and finishing off his glass.

"You know you're very blunt, player 11," Chan laughed as he equally finished his.

"I'm sorry, I tend to just say whatever comes to my mind," he said, picking up the bottle and smally refilling both their glasses.

"It's okay; I think I'm getting used to it,"

"So, should I call Jeongin," he playfully put out, returning the bottle to the ice bucket and picking up his glass.

"What about the food we ordered??" he laughed as he slipped his glass.

"Oh yeah, our order.." he playfully drawled.

"You don't care,"

"Not at all," Seungmin laughed.

"I'll blame it all on the wine later. Call him," he sighed, quickly finishing his second glass and eagerly finishing Seungmin's. He giggled as he grabbed his phone from his coat and called Jeongin, asking him to pick them up. He ended the call by sitting his phone down and reaching for his wallet.

"Let me cover half," Chan quickly said, also reaching for his jacket to get his wallet.

"You're cute. No, I asked you out; I'll pay," Seungmin firmly said.

"Okay," Chan sighed, choosing not to argue with him.

"You actually gave up," Seungmin shockingly said as he pulled out 500 dollars, assuming that was more than enough to cover the both of them.

"I want to fuck you, not fight you," Chan smirked at him.

"Oh," Seungmin smiled, looking up at the comment. Well, I hope you're not all talk," he fired back despite the red blush that tinted his cheeks that threatened to darken.

"I promise you I'm not," Chan lightly laughed as he put his jacket back on.

"Um, he's..he sh-should be here soon," Seungmin stuttered, his cheeks burning darker at the sudden confidence of the older.

"Okay, good, the bottle is coming with us," Chan said as the two stood up, grabbing the bottle out of the bucket and starting for the exit. "Oh wait," he stopped, running back to the table. There was no way he wasn't going half, quickly reaching back into his pocket, pulling his wallet back out, and taking half of Seungmin's money and replacing it with his.

"Almost forgot my phone," he laughed, raising it to him. Seungmin smiled as he turned back towards the exit. Jeongin was waiting for them right outside the restaurant, standing by the backseat car door. Seungmin rolled his eyes as he watched him open it when he saw the two.

"Chauffeur," Chan questioned as they approached the car.

"Chauffeur, assistant, manager, best friend. Although he's only acting nice because you're here," he scoffed, glaring at him as he hopped into the backseat.

"Hi," Chan softly said as he climbed in after him. Jeongin laughed as he closed the door and settled into the driver's seat. He adjusted the rearview mirror, pointing it directly at the two.

Jeongin and Seungmin have been friends their whole lives. And surprisingly, much like Chan, Seungmin didn't have a history of relationships. He was a pretty famous athlete; of course, he definitely had the opportunity for one. He just never had the time or the energy to pursue.

The two were really made for each other. And Jeongin was just as excited about the two. He's been patiently waiting for the person with who he would settle down with. He might have been expecting a lot, but he could instantly tell Chan was the perfect one for him. As cheesy as it was.

"So where am I taking you?" he asked as he restarted the car. They both shyly smiled as they looked at each other.

"We can go to my place," Seungmin suggested. If you don't mind."

"I don't," Chan softly smiled at him.

"Okay, then just take us home," Seungmin told Jeongin. He hummed as he switched the gear out of park and started out of the parking lot. Seungmin took a deep breath as he sat back against the seat. He was definitely more nervous than he was earlier, and Chan instantly caught this.

He took his unoccupied hand and softly placed it on his thigh, "I promise I'll be gentle," he lowly whispered by his ear, moving his hand slowly against him as he planted a quick kiss on the side of his head.

"What if I don't want you to be gentle?" Seungmin quickly replied, not letting his words get to him.

"Even better," he giggled, softly squeezing his skin.

"Fuck," Seungmin lowly moaned, impulsively shutting his legs together.

"It's good to know it's just as easy to tease you back," Chan smugly laughed, pulling his hand from between his legs. Seungmin rolled his eyes as he reached over and snatched the bottle of wine from him. "You're so cute right now," Chan cooed at him, dragging down his pouty bottom lip with his thumb.

"Stop it," Seungmin annoyingly said, pushing his hand away.

"Okay, I'm sorry," he laughed, taking the bottle back and leaving him alone for the rest of the ride. ~~
