Description: My Straykids MegaVerse!! Seungmin's sudden sickness sent the entire group for a loop, especially when the reason for this was something none of them would ever suspect.

Background: The Omegaverse is not set in stone, and essentially, it is whatever the writer wants it to be. It's something that is adaptable and can be shaped into literally anything. This is MY take on the Omegaverse and how I view it. If you don't agree, that's okay. I hope you can enjoy it regardless. I mentioned it in the story, but Chan, Minho, Changbin, and Jeongin are Alphas. Hyunjin, Han, and Felix are Omegas. And Seungmin is a Beta.

It wasn't often seen that wolf hybrids working what others would deem a typical job. Wolf?? No, they weren't animals with ears and a tail, although I bet their fans would love to see that. They were humans with the emotional characteristics of wolves. So, on the outside, they seemed almost normal. That is unless they feel defensive or overly protective over their mate or someone in their pack.

That's where the line between human and wolf blur. It was rare for them even to exist, let alone be idols for one of the biggest companies in K-pop. But their talents were undeniable, and everyone loved them.

The groups consisted of eight of them. All pure-blooded hybrids. Chan was their alpha, their pack leader. He basically raised them all, including himself. He gave them a safe space to discover who they were and did his best to shield them from the hate the rest of the world had for them.

He was their father figure. A term the pack and their fans characterized him with. It was a very fitting term because he was always super supportive and equally overprotective of them. He would do anything for them.

Minho, Changbin, and Jeongin were also alphas in the pack. They were not as strong or dominant as Chan but just as powerful, and they helped look over their omegas, Hyunjin, Han, and Felix.

As rare as wolf hybrids were in their worlds, betas were even more indiscreet. They were more powerful than Omegas, yet they were looked down upon and deemed unnecessary by both parties. Chan and the rest of the pack mates were the only ones who accepted Seungmin for who he was as a purebred Beta.

The groups were preparing for their upcoming comeback in their dance practice room. Minho sighed to himself, watching Jeongin break out of formation to restart the song for them. He looked over at the reason why they had to restart—watching Seungmin through the mirrors, panting as he struggled to lift himself from his knees.

He bit his tongue, fighting himself from snapping at him. Instead, he was patient and moved back to his starting position. Jeongin quickly started the song over and jumped back into his spot. Minho counted them in before they restarted the choreography.

"Damn it," Seungmin angrily shouted through his scattered breaths. "Guys, I'm so sorry," he softly said, lowering his head from them, tiredly leaning back on his knees.

"What the fuck is wrong with you??" Minho finally snapped as he turned around to him. Forgetting all about the patients he vowed prior. Everyone jumped in shock at his sudden tone and choice of words for the younger.
