~Chapter 5~
"Hey, what's up," Changbin said as he answered the phone.
"Changbin??"
"Yeah," he laughed.
"Where's Felix," Chan questioned.
"Um... I really don't know. The bathroom, maybe. What's up?" he asked again.
"I need help," Chan softly spoke.
"Why, what happened??
"Player 11..Seungmin I-I..I called him," he shyly replied.
"OMG YOU ACTUALLY CALLED HIM!! What did he say??"
"I'm meeting him for dinner tonight," he reluctantly let out.
"No fucking way, this is crazy,"
"I know, and I have no idea what to wear; I need help," he pleaded.
"Yeah, I really can't help you there,"
"Which is why I called Felix," he asserted.
"Right," Changbin laughed, realizing he was talking to him on Felix's phone. Let me get him; give me a second," he said before putting the phone on the table before him.
Chan laughed to himself as he heard the faint 'baby' through the phone. He took a deep breath as he sat down on his bed. He seemed to always be in constant panic whenever he thought of Seungmin, although he felt more excited than nervous about meeting him. Usually, you'd at least conversate some before rushing to meet. But Chan stupidly told him he was free the next day and agreed to meet him. It's not like he felt like he could say no. He laughed, hearing the two whispering something to each other as they came back to the phone.
"He called him...YOU CALLED HIM!!" Felix excitedly shouted through the phone. Chan laughed as he pulled the phone from his ear.
"Yeah, yesterday," Chan shyly laughed.
"And you're meeting him for dinner," Felix teasingly repeated.
"You shouldn't sound more excited than me," Chan said, rolling his eyes. He didn't have to see him to know he was doing that annoying thing with his eyebrows, waving them with that stupid little smirk on his face.
"This is exciting. I mean, you haven't had a relationship, well, at least a serious one since sophomore year of college. Ah, what was her name??" He said, trying to recall. Changbin, what was her name??" He whined, smacking his hand against his shoulder.
Chan sighed as they bickered with each other over the phone, trying to remember her name. They always brought this up, and although it wasn't untrue, he just wished they would leave it alone.
Chan was never the relationship type; he never felt the need for one, even with Felix's pressuring and random attempts at a blind date. He actually never experienced having a "crush" on someone until now.
He couldn't explain why he felt such a strong connection to him. I mean, they don't even know each other that well or even at all. But that's what excites him; the want to know more. A little obsessive, but he wanted to learn every little thing about him.
"Wasn't it Lee something??" He continued desperately trying to connect the missing dots.
"Ahh, Lee Seohye," Changbin laughed, snapping his fingers at the conclusion.
"Right, Seohye, she was really pretty too," Felix remembered as the two sat in thought, thinking back to how cute they were together for the short while they were together. Oh shit, Chan, you still there??" He softly laughed through the phone.
