~Chapter 6~
It was the day of their first promotional stage for their new album. The boys were at the venue working on their rehearsal. Chan was still worried about Seungmin, but he looked a lot better, and he made sure to remind him that he was constantly. So, it was easier to focus solely on the rehearsal. Also, knowing that the doctors cleared him okay to work.
"Good work, everyone," their manager praised as he approached the boys on stage from behind the camera. You almost look decent," he cheekily replied. Han impulsively reached for Minho's wrist; he never took their manager's passive-aggressive insults well.
Minho laughed as he looked down at the gentle embrace, biting his lip and following him backstage to their dressing room. The rest of the guys followed while Chan went to talk with their manager by the monitors.
"Hey, Minnie," Felix called, running to catch up with him.
"Yeah," he huffed, still trying to catch his breath.
"How are you feeling? Are you okay??"
"Yeah, lix, I'm fine," he reassuringly smiled at him as they continued to walk.
"Are you sure??" Felix continued to ask, still not convinced of his response. He wasn't positive, but he could feel the pain he was feeling.
"Felix, relax. I promise I'm okay," he laughed, jokingly nudging his shoulder. "But I have to use the bathroom quickly," he smiled as he went in the opposite direction from the room. Felix took a deep breath, choosing not to argue with him, and went to the room.
They used the time before the show to change into stage outfits, stretch, and loudly warm their voices.
It wasn't long before Chan joined them, mindlessly navigating through his members' loud chatter and playfulness as he went to change into his fit. "Seungmin..where's Seungmin," he asked, noticing he wasn't in the room with the rest of them.
"He went to the bathroom," Felix yelled out across the room before turning back and relentlessly tickling Jeongin. Chan laughed at the two, setting down his shirt and leaving to check on him.

"Hey, Seungmin..what are you doing??" He nervously laughed, watching him jump at his entrance.
"Wh-What, um, nothing," he laughed as he turned to him, suspiciously standing in front of the bathroom sink.
"Are you okay??" he squinted as he walked over to him.
"Yeah, I was just using the bathroom. You're worrying too much," Seungmin rolled his eyes as he turned back to the sink to wash his hands.
"It's my job to worry," Chan whined as he leaned down and kissed his neck, gently placing his hands on his waist.
"Yeah, not today," he laughed as he turned his head and softly kissed his cheek. The doctor said I was fine, and I'm okay," he reiterated to him.
"I know, I know," Chan laughed as he pulled away. Seungmin softly smiled as he looked at him through the mirror. "Hurry back, okay? We're going on stage soon," he said as he kissed the top of his head.
"Okay," Seungmin hummed as he watched him turn to leave, keeping that smile on his face until he saw the door shut close behind him.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," he whined, desperately bringing his hands over his stomach. "please, please, please don't do this right now. He pleaded, looking down at his stomach. "Fuck I have to go on stage in an hour," he cried as the intense cramping pain persisted. He groaned as he grabbed onto the sink.
"God, you're such a little bitch," he laughed as he looked as he looked up at himself in the mirror. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that," he apologetically sighed. He turned on the water, splashing some over his face.
"I can do this," he said to himself through the mirror, grabbing a paper towel to dry his face. "Deep breaths..." he reminded himself as he leaned against the sink. "Deep breaths," he softly repeated to himself as he deeply inhaled, trying to calm down.

Back in the rooms, the boys had finally finished getting ready. Chan sat on the couch, laptop in his lap. Probably working on tracks for future albums. But he found it hard to focus with Seungmin's lack of return from the bathroom. He knows he shouldn't worry; the doctor said he was fine, but he couldn't help it.
Constantly glancing up at the door waiting for him. Fighting himself not to get up and go check on him, fearing that he was being too protective and suffocating. But he's been gone for an unnatural amount of time.
"Seungmin still isn't back from the bathroom. You have 30 minutes before you go on," their manager yelled as he entered the room.
"What?" Chan snapped out of his thoughts. "Oh, let me check on him," he quickly said, closing his laptop and setting it beside him on the couch.
"Hyung, he's coming," Felix softly said, watching him reach up to open the door.
"Hi," Seungmin cutely smiled at him as he opened the door. "Hi," Chan softly smiled back at him.
"Okay, before you ask again, yes, I'm okay," he laughed as he passed him and entered the room.
"I wasn't even gonna ask," he playfully scoffed as he walked back over to his laptop.
"Yeah, whatever," he rolled his eyes as he went to change. By the time he finished with the stylist, it was time to go on stage, Seungmin still felt awful, but at this point, he had no choice but to suck it up. He already disappointed the team enough, although it wasn't entirely his fault—he was just tired of being a burden to them.
And he definitely didn't want to get Chan all worked up. He really did worry far too much, rightfully so. He shook himself out of it as he stood up and followed everyone out. Felix, who lingered behind, quickly grabbed his wrist to stop him and pulled his arm back from the door.
"Lix, what's up," he said, pulling his arm back from him.
"What's wrong? And don't tell me you're fine. I can feel your pain," he tried to say sternly, but his voice only came off quiet and full of worry.
"Felix, it's nothing," he laughed, waving him off as he returned to the door.
"Tell me, or I'm telling Channie Hyung," he softly shouted at him. Seungmin's movement halted upon hearing him say that. That was the last thing he needed; Chan in a state of panic.
"Fuck..." he lowly mumbled to himself before turning back to him. "Aw Felix, please don't cry, I'm sorry," he cooed as he pulled him into a hug. "You'll mess up all your pretty makeup," he softly joked, trying to make him laugh, smiling when he heard the soft giggle from him.
"Minnie, you're in so much pain," Felix softly mumbled against his shoulder, moving his hand to his stomach.
"I know, but if I tell you... can you promise me you'll keep it a secret? Just for a little while," he softly begged as he pulled away from him. Felix eagerly nodded his head at him, patting the tears dry under his eyes.
Seungmin took a deep breath as he leaned in and whispered into his ear. Felix's eyes widened as he pulled back. Nobody can know yet," he softly repeated at Felix's still puzzled face.
"But..but how??" he hesitantly asked.
"I'll tell you later," he laughed as he threw his arm over his shoulder and walked out to the stage. Felix never let go of his confusion as the two joined the other members who were greeting Stays. He could trust him to keep a secret, but his face told everything. "Smile, Felix, please," he softly whispered to him before walking to the front and waving at some Stays in the audience. Felix took a deep breath as he did the same. ~~
