~Chapter 3 (Final)~

It was a couple of hours later before Chan got back home. He pulled his keys out of his pocket and inserted them into the lock as he twisted the knob of the door. He walked into the dorm, setting the two small bags he was carrying on the table with his keys before he turned back to close the door and flip on the lights.

"Shit," he softly yelled as he saw Seungmin sitting on the couch. "God, you scared me..why are you sitting in the dark??" He laughed as he started to take off his jacket.

"I was waiting for you," Seungmin deadpanned.

"Jeongin, not home??" he asked as he sat beside him on the couch.

"No, Felix found a new gaming cafe and invited us to go with him," Seungmin told him.

"And you didn't want to go??" He softly questioned.

"No, I was waiting for you," he plainly repeated.

"Thank you..but you didn't have to. I know it's been a while," Chan sadly said to him.

"Mm," Seungmin huffed.

"I missed you," Chan softly cooed as he reached for his thigh.

"N-No..I can't.." Seungmin quickly said, pulling away from him.

"Huh?"

"I think I'll sleep at my dorm tonight," he softly whispered as he stood up from the couch.

"Wait.."

"I know it's not fair for me to say this. I was the one who told you to go. And I was okay at first; I was trying to be for you. She's just a friend, and it was just lunch. It was only an hour of your day. But Hyung, it's been 5 hours. I've been waiting for you for 5 hours..waiting because I told you I'd be here when you get back. You said you'd be back in an hour, not 5.." he choked.

"Baby, let me explain, please," Chan pleaded, he was misunderstanding everything.

"No, I can't. I can't hear about you and her..hyung, I can't," he softly cried, bringing his hand up to his face to brush away the tears that started to fall from his eyes. "I just need time..t-to think alone," he slowly said, taking a deep breath to calm his emotions.

Chan waited a second, watching as he slowly started to relax his body. He assumed he was jealous, but he wasn't aware how much; at least he knew how much the younger cared for him.

"Can I talk now??" Chan hesitantly asked. "I mean..I get to explain myself, yeah," he questioned. Seungmin softly sniffled as he nodded his head. "I never met Amelia," Chan softly said. "We never went out for lunch," he added.

"B-But..5 hours. There's someone else!!" Seungmin exclaimed, quickly jumping to bizarre conclusions.

"Not unless their name starts with S and ends with Min, and they're a member of the South Korean boy group Straykids," Chan playfully joked.

"I-I don't believe you," Seungmin lowly said, still hesitant, thinking about how long he was gone.

"So when I left earlier, I was going to lunch with Amelia, but I couldn't stop thinking about you. You were telling me to go, but I knew you didn't really want me to, and I'd never do anything to make you upset. So instead, I went and got something for you as a surprise. So will you sit down so I can show you," he sighed, pointing at the seat beside him.

"Good boy," he smiled as he watched him walk over and plop down on the couch; he could tell he still doubted him, and it was really starting to break his heart, but he desperately took a breath to calm himself down.
