Seungmin lowly groaned as he pulled the covers closer to himself. He furrowed his eyebrows, expecting a tug back, playfully tugging again before opening his eyes to him not in bed. "Babe," he softly called, yawing as he looked around the room. He sighed as he reluctantly pulled the covers off himself.

Quickly grabbing the hoodie from the chair beside the bed, "God, why is it so cold in here," he laughed to himself, shivering as he adjusted to the warmth of the fabric. He exhaled as he picked up his sweats from the floor, slid them on, and walked downstairs.

"Babe," he called again as he descended the stairs, looking into their shared living room and kitchen, lasting checking his studio room. "Where the fuck is he," he sighed again as he ran back upstairs, stupidly leaving his phone on his nightstand, retorting to call him. He walked back into their room, sitting back on his side of the bed as he grabbed his phone. He stopped when he saw the message from him.

My Old Man ❤️

Hey,

What do you want for dinner?

Are you grabbing something

on your way home??

Yeah, I can.

And when should I expect it?

Seungmin, im leaving soon.

Do you want anything or not?

No, im not hungry.

Okay, love you.

Yeah, love you too.

New message

Im at the the gym.

Seungmin rolled his eyes as he swiped out of the chat, aggressively shoved his phone in his pocket, and walked back to the kitchen. He and Chan have been together for almost a year and a half now. And although they seem perfect to everyone else, they are far from it.

It was amazing at first; it was like the two of them instantly clicked, and Chan was, of course, the sweetest guy he had ever met. He didn't know when in their relationship that changed. When he stopped giving him as much attention, and would rather spend all his time at his best friend's gym.

He didn't want to sound needy. Like he was desperate for his attention, he just missed the guy he used to be. He hated this feeling; it made his chest heavy, like now, as he walked into the kitchen and pulled down a bowl of ramen to make.

He's had these thoughts for a while now. Scaring himself into believing that he might not love him anymore. That maybe it was his fault; he did something to make him less attracted to him. And worse, that he's cheating on him.

He knew it was stupid to think that. Chan wasn't that type of guy; he was sure he wasn't. But he couldn't fight the thoughts. The way he constantly distanced himself and barely spoke to him unless he was home—which he never was. Everything was telling him he was, but he wasn't sure.

Maybe it's because he still loved him so much. Maybe he was blinded by such infatuation with the older and was constantly holding out hope that the man he fell in love with would come back to him. Foolish thinking, but we already established he wasn't in his right mind.
