Chapter 19

HER'S POV

"Maawa ka, bata pa ang mga anak ko! Ibibigay ko sayo lahat! Sasabihin ko na lahat! Pangakong mananahimik ako, patawarin mo ko kung may nagawa man akong mali!" Malakas na hahulgol ng lalaki.

"Mama ko!" Paulit-ulit na hiyaw ng anim na gulang na batang lalaki habang hinihiwa at ino-operahan sya ng buhay. Pilit syang nag-wawala pero sadyang mahina sya kumpara sa apat na lalaking humahawak sa kanya.

"Wala kaming atraso sayo, bakit mo ba ginagawa sa'amin to?! Ako nalang, wag mo nang idamay ang magulang ko, nakikiusap ako sayo." Hahulgol ng isang babae.

"Hey?! Faschia?!" Isang mahinang sampal ang gumising sa'kin kaya wala sa sarili akong napa-bangon.

Nang nilibot ko ang paningin ko at napag-tanto kong nasa kwarto na ko ni Leo. Maliwanag ang buong kwarto dahil sa sikat ng araw. Samantalang si Leo ay naka-upo sa tabi ko, may bakas ng pag-aalala sa muka nya.

Nanaginip ba ko? Eh yung barilan kagabi? Panaginip din ba?

"Hey, are you okay? Do you need something?" Leo keeps on talking. Kahit anong pag-intindi ko sa mga sinasabi nya ay nananaig pa rin ang mga boses sa isipan ko.

It's been a long time since it happened to me.

Naramdaman ko ang mahigpit na yakap ni Leo at doon lang ako natauhan.

Bahagya ko syang tinulak. "Teka, chancing ka ah?"

"Don't worry, you're not my type." Sabi pa nya.

"We have something to talk later." Saad ko bago tumayo at nag-tungong banyo.

Pag-labas ko ng banyo ay wala na sya sa kwarto. Mabilis akong nag-bihis at bumaba para hanapin si Vladimir pero hindi ko sya nakita. Ang tao lang na nandoon ay si Matthi. Inaantay nya rin ang iba dahil may nakalap syang panibagong balita. Sinabihan ko syang aalis ako para hanapin si Vladimir at wag munang sabihin kahit kanino ang nakalap nyang impormasyon hanggat hindi pa ko nakakauwi.

First, I dialed Vladimir's number. It rang for 30 seconds before he could finally answer.

"What?" Ani Vlad sa kabilang linya.

"Where are you?"

"With gabb. Why?"

"It's about the drugs that I told you to create before. Do you still have them nor the formula?" Tanong ko

Sandaling natahimik ang kabilang linya. "Yes, Is there any problem? Are you okay?"

"Bring them tonight." Yun lang at in-end ko na ang call.

After that, Lumabas na ko. I was supposed to go to Vladimir's place but i changed my mind. I need some place to refresh my thoughts and clear my mind.

Wala akong nagawa kundi lakarin ang mahabang kalye papunta sa main road. Ang nag-iisang sasakyan na meron kami ay malamang na ginamit nina Gabby at Vlad. Walang ibang paraan para makapunta sa main road kundi ang mag-lakad.

Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng daan nang mag-dilim ang langit. Maya-maya pa'y sunod sunod na dagundong ng kulog naman ang nag-hari.

I considered myself lucky when I arrived at the main road before the rain.

I rode the bus and goes to one unpopular bar in the city. I ordered a hard drink, hoping to drown all my amxiety.

A moment later, an unfamiliar man with a black coat sat beside me. "Hi."

I saw from my peripheral vision that he was intently looking at me but i ignored his presence. My mind already went numb and the only thing that comes through my mind was the thing I dreamed about last night.

"You don't look fine." He man said.

His words echoed through my mind. Deja vu?

Still, I ignored him for the second time as I comtinue drinking.

Moments passed until I realized that it was already afternoon. The man beside, who was now drinking a cocktail didn't leave his chair even a single second.

After ignoring him for four times, he finally got the hint that I wasn't interested talking to him. I drank the last shot and left the counter.

Before I even exit the place, my phone vibrated, probably notified me about something. I stopped walking and open my phone only to see a message from an unfamiliar number.

"How I want to strangle that guy who talked to you." - This was the message said.

Just like a curious person would do, I scan the whole place for any possible lead but found nothing special. But how come this person got my number?

I ignored the message that shouldn't be ignored at the first place. However, my mind is too occupied on something, making me unaware of my surroundings.

After goung to the pub, I goes to a cafe to drink some frappe and to relax. While sipping my favorite coffee, another message popped out.

"I love those lips of yours. It reminds me of heaven when all I see is hell. "  - This was the message says.

Malamang sa malamang ay ganito ang mga mensaheng natatanggap ng ibang babae bago sila mawala o madukot. I won't be confuse if someone tries to abduct me later on.

I, again ignored the message, not minding to search for any suspicious person inside the cafe since Im not really in the mood to play any games and all I want to do is to rest.

After three hours or so, I finally decided go walk home. At first, it was just normal, not until i reached the street that leads to Vlad's rest house. I have this uneasy feeling but my tired body and dizzy mind pefextly contradicts my guts.

After five minutes of walking in the street, another message was sent to me. I didn't hesitate to open it but this time, it was two messages coming from the same unregistered number.

"You're too beautiful to walk alone in the dark."

And the second one is;

"I could break all the laws just to have you."

And one after another until I decided to fasten my pace. I'm not in the mood to play anything with anyone and this one is not an excemption.

When i was few meters away from the house, a huge mascular arms wrapped around tightly on my waist as I felt a heavy breathing on the back of my head. His manly scent sent shiver to my spine, making me comepletely stopped from walking.

"I miss you so much, My Lady."
