Chapter 27

HER'S POV

"Kamusta ka? May darating na mahalagang bisita. Hindi maganda kung ganyan ka nya dadatnan. Mas magandang salubungin mo sya nang may sigla." Ani Batman nang maka-lapit na sya sa'min. I can't sense if he was joking or not.

"Nasan na si Leo?"

"Nag-papapawis sa labas." He replied. Kinapkapan nya ang tagiliran ni Lautaro ma hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa narinig. Siniguro nyang walang kahit anong baril o gamit na naka-tago dito bago sya nag-tungo sa'kin.

"How many are you?"

"Tatlo lang. Si Gabby nasa labas. Nauna nang umalis si Aña, may mahalaga daw syang meeting." Batman explained as he helped me to stand up.

I felt a bit embarassed because of what I'm wearing. I was wearing Lautaro's blanket that serves as a dress for my naked body. Buti na lang talaga ay iba mag-isip ni Batman base sa pag-kakakilala ko sa kanya. Hindi nya binibigyang pansin ang mga ganitong bagay.

Naka-alalay sya saking mag-lakad at nang nasa kalagitnaan na kami ay nasalubong namin si Leo. Hindi pa rin nawawala ang kunot na noo nya at may bahid ng dugo ang pareho nyang kamay. His white polo longsleeve has tainted with blood too.

Dire-diretso syang nag-lakad at sinalubong kami and in just a swift of motion, he carried me in a bride stule way. Si Batman naman ang nanguna at bumabaril sa mga makakasalubong namin.

Nang malapit na kami sa kotse ay sumakay na si Batman sa shotgun seat at kami naman ni Leo ang nasa likuran.

"Anong nalaman mo?" Maqtus asked.

"Yung nang-himasok sa'tin nong nakaraan, it was one of them remember? His name is Heliezer and if Im not mistaken, Leo mentioned him as a one of the important personality inside the Keres. I didn't told ya'll exactly about what he said when he trespassed us, but it's something to do with me." I stated. Tahimik namang nakinig ang lahat. "That night, Sinabi nyang ipinag-uutos ng boss nya na humingi ako ng dispensa sa nagawa ko nong panahong nasa seserbisyo pa ko."

"Hindi na ko mag-tataka. Marami kang binangga noon." Iiling iling na sabi ni Batman. "Tapos? Sya ang nag-abduct sayo?"

I slowly shook my head. "It's Leo's brother who abducted me." I noticed that Leo glanced at me. "That morning when I last stepped on the house, I was trying to find Vladimir for my special medicine but he was somewhere with Gabby. Since I don't feel good, I decided to go outside to relax. Around that day, I received some messages from an unregisted number."

"Tapos?" Batman asked. Kami lang dalawa ang nag-uusap samantalang ang dalawa naming kasama ay nakikinig lang.

I let out a sigh before I speak. "If im not mistaken, I received four messages. One when I was at the bar, second was around afternoon and the last two when I was walking home."

Ikinuwento sa kanila ang lahat ng detalye simula nang magising ako at ginawang punching bag hanggang sa Matagpuan nila ako kasama si Lautaro. As of now, tinatahak na namin ang street patungo sa tinutuluyan naming bahay.

"Bakit pakiramdam konmay gusto sa'yo yung kuya ni Leo?" Gabby randomly asked. "Pero hindi rin siguro. Bakit ka nya babarilin ng ganoon kung may gusto nga sya sayo diba?"

"My brother, after all is a great deceiver. Believeing in everything he shows was like hoping for snow in the philippines." Leo said.

Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Batman sa kanya. "Do you want to say something to us? That is relevant for me and to Terrah's case?" Tanong ko.

Saglit syang nanahimik. "My brother is considered the highest of the three but his position was under's Ellina. Meanwhile, Ellina's father was superior of all. If im not mistaken, he was considered a boss."

"Ang ama ng sinasabi mong Ellina ang itinuturing ng boss ng Keres?" Paniniguro ni Batman.

"Seems like. But im not comepletely sure. I think theres something to consider too." Leo explained, his eyebrows almost met. Malalim ang iniisip nya at tila may binubuo syang teorya sa utak.

Parang may kaunting hint na ko pero gusto ko kong maka-siguro? "Like what? How can you say that?"

"There is specific someone they called 'father'. I'm not sure if it was him. I haven't seen him before. Only Ellina and Lu saw him." Leo replied.

Napaisip kaming lahat. Why would they want to reign underground? What is their main motive?

I sigh and took a glance to Leo. "Are you a member of Keres? What is their motive?"

Naramdaman ko ang tingin ni Batman sakin mula sa rearview mirror pero hindi ko inalis ang tingin ko kay Leo. Gusto kong malaman kung magagamit ba namin sya o hindi dahil ang hindi namin kakampi ay kalaban namin.

"Im not a legal member of Keres. My brother found me, took me and recruited me without the permission of 'father' and use me as a messenger, just like Heliezer." Bumuntong hininga sya bago nag-patuloy. "In short, father is not aware of my existence. Not until I got in a relationship with his daughter."

"Father is too desperate to expand Keres infulence so he made an operation to attack the Royal family. In that case, they can ask Terraiana to join Keres in exchange for her family safety, or Might as well ask for an important information written by the Scorpion's boss."

Napataas ang Isang kilay ko. "And that is?"

Leo directly stare at me. "The Scorpion scroll."
