O L I V I A

A few days later, and Kieran was sitting on the couch, a glass of wine in his hand as he enjoyed the rich flavor that came with it.

I had my own wine glass, sitting beside him while both of us stared at the fireplace in his apartment.

He had called me to talk about everything that I had told him inside the hotel room. About my past, the murders and my revenge since he knew most of the things.

That's why I was sitting next to him, sharing wine and staring at the flickering flames of the fireplace.

"What's your true plan?" Kieran asked, leaning into the couch, making himself comfortable despite the fact that he was talking with a murderer.

"I want your uncle to divorce his wife. I want him to leave her and never look back." I answered, feeling the warmth gathering inside me due to the alcohol.

"Eleanor will not crumble because of a divorce, but her status will lower since she won't be carrying the Everett name anymore, and she will not be protected by her husband." I explained to him, wishing for the day when the married couple will get divorced.

"She will be less important and less protected, in other words, she's vulnerable and an easy prey." I turned my gaze to Kieran, giving him a sly wink as he rolled his eyes at me.

"It would be better if they divorce because Mr. Everett's name won't be stained by what I have planned for her." I said, turning my attention back to the fireplace.

"So that's why you want them to divorce?" Kieran mumbled, thinking deeply about my words.

"Yes, I promised you that I didn't come here to harm your family." Well, Eleanor Everett counts as his family on legal documents that is, but he doesn't see her as part of the family.

"What's your plan after the divorce?" He questioned.

"Eleanor will turn into dust around the beginning of next year for what I have planned for her. She will have the shock of her life." I was referring to the murders that I had committed that would put her in prison.

"But before that happens, I wish to see her crumble apart, especially if she would get invited to Mr. Everett's next wedding after their divorce." I smiled, taking a sip of the wine and feeling the bitter taste on my tongue.

"H-How will that even work?" A very confused Kieran shot me another of his questions, sitting up and not leaning back as my words piqued his interest.

"I'm all in on getting rid of her, but my uncle doesn't deserve to be played like that..." He added, sympathizing with his uncle.

"Your uncle won't be played by anyone," I told him while taking out a few printed pictures from my pocket. I handed the few pictures to Kieran while telling him to be careful with the evidence.

"Don't you think your uncle will want his own revenge?" I confessed.

It was the truth because those printed pictures that were hard to find would blow their marriage into pieces, and this time, there would be no return for them.

No way back to the way it was in their marriage.

"W-Where did you... find this?" Kieran sat up as he placed his wine glass on the table in front of us.

He examined the few pictures with a baffled expression, his jaw wanting to fall onto the floor.

"Found an illegal hacker on the dark web and requested him to hack into Eleanor's Everett's second phone and third phone." I admitted.

I knew that Eleanor always had a few phones on her, and her first phone that she used in front of other people wasn't the one she would use to have affairs.

That is what Kieran was looking at, pictures of evidence from Eleanor's affair, or affairs.

Kieran's father wasn't the only person that she had an affair with, those printed pictures show three different people during her three years of marriage.

Eleanor wasn't someone that enjoyed one-night stands, since she kept her affairs long, that lasted up to a few months at a time.

Her affair with Kieran's father lasted for about a half a year until his death, and the thought of Eleanor taking revenge on Kieran through his father made sense.

Right now, she has dumped her last affair with a married man, as I will send these photos to the married man's wife very soon.

I sighed as something else had been bothering my mind, and voiced them out loud, "No offense Kieran, but how can your uncle not know about the affairs? Does Eleanor have something on him?"

Kieran placed the pictures next to his wine glass, he spread them apart and examined each picture carefully like he couldn't believe what he was witnessing.

"He must know, my uncle wouldn't allow this to happen to him, would he?" Kieran bit into his lower lip, trying to mask the feelings of anxiety.

"I don't think he would unless she had something on him, she knows how to use things against people," I blurted out, recalling when she handed Mr. Everett evidence of me stealing and screaming at her sister along with pushing down the statue.

Yet, he still didn't toss me aside or forbid me to enter his mansion, is this his call for help?

"What will you do now?" Kieran's voice drew me away from my thoughts as I loved the question he asked.

"Before she turns into dust... I will make sure to play my role as a homewrecker very well." I reached out my wine glass towards him, to make a toast.

My murders were soon coming to an end, and now it was time to become a homewrecker.

"And what about my uncle?" Kieran took his own glass into his hand, but he hesitated and didn't toast yet.

He wanted to be sure that his family would be safe in the end, as this would be a toast of a promise.

"I will make sure that Mr. Everett will personally thank me for getting rid of her, I promise."

At that, both of us toasted, making a promise.
