For the first day in months, everyone in the Mikaelson compound woke up and their first thought was not to devise a plan to turn Briana's humanity back on. Listening to the heartache and disdain in Klaus' plea last night was enough to detour them from the subject for the time being, and well, they had bigger problems on their hands that go by the names of Mikael and Esther.

Briana was loving it. She spent all night feeding on whoever crossed her path and then didn't have to clean up the mess knowing it would magically get taken care like it always did. One day she would have to thank Klaus for his assumed janitor patrol, but today was not that day. Today was the first day she didn't have her family and friends breathing down her neck to feel something, she wasn't going to mess that up.

She strutted down the stairs with a big smile on her face to see a breakfast spread that was a mile long. Pastries, fruits, juices, the whole nine yards was before.

She plucked some grapes off their stem and popped them into her mouth. Smiling innocently as she enjoyed a nice, normal, and quiet meal. She quickly felt a presence form behind her.

"So.. which restaurant is missing a compelled chef?" She smirked as she turned to face Klaus who was quickly approaching her with a furrowed brow.

"It's certainly a card I played in the past, but I had no hand in this." He said as he waved his hand at the table.

Briana shrugged, "Mhm, I guess we have Elijah and his pathetic attempts at wooing Hayley to thank."

"This wasn't my doing." Elijah's voice erupted across the courtyard as the well dressed original made his way down the stairs, Hayley following sheepishly behind him with flushed cheeks.

"Then where did this all come from?" Briana asked as she admired the display.

Just then, a dish covered by a rounded top began to rattle. Briana jumped slightly in shock as the brother's exchanged concerned glances.

Klaus reached for it, slowing removing the lid to reveal 3 small baby crows that flew away in an instant, and a small folded piece of paper.

"What the hell was that?" Hayley questioned as Klaus reached for the note that read:

Dinner. Your home. 5 pm.

Klaus gulped as his eyes looked over the piece of paper, "An invitation from our mother."

After Ester's invitation, or ambush rather, the Mikaelson clan needed a plan.

Briana sat on the bed she and Klaus shared while he stood on the balcony, no doubt pondering what his next move should be.

"What is wrong with your mother?" Briana said as Klaus reentered their room.

"We don't have the time to get into that list right now." Klaus said lowly, "But believe me, it is plentiful."

Briana watched him with empty eyes as he spoke, "We have enough enemies here, and now the war for our home is to be fought against my own family."

Briana's shoulders tightened, "Your wretched mother and her disciples tried to put a carving knife through our baby's heart. The answer is clear, we kill her, and we make it marvelously violent." She smiled, but underneath the strength of unbotheredness, Klaus could sense a small quiver in her voice at the mention of their daughter.

"You will do no such thing." Elijah instructed as he entered the room, "Esther is a master in the art of possession. We know whose body she currently inhabits. We must decipher her intentions before she finds a new host."
