Roohyang, a witch, Jimin's mother .
The people of Velaris didn't just turn their backs on Roohyang, but King Kim Haejon went even further. He ordered his people to cut off her head and offered a huge reward to anyone who could bring it to him.
Despite the fact that, Roohyang provided people of Velaris various treatments for their illness, and brought herbs that human could never find out, still they became her hostile. Her sin was unforgettable, and according to them, she deserved a cruel punishment.
Roohyang was a witch, who had access on dark magic, her powers were immense and unbeatable. She was the only witch who could change her eyes shade, from crimson to the normal rich brown eyes, to keep her secret.
When the news about Roohyang being a witch broke out, Velaris shuddered through the fear. The terror they all felt transformed itself into the hatred and they decided to abandoned her.
Roohyang's father, a powerful Witcher of his time had migrated in Velaris from Thaloria years ago, hoping to live a noble life he always dreamed.
But all his hopes went in vain, for years, Roohyang kept her secrets, until her father died because of a natural death. However, one day, an old woman came to her, she claimed that her son had weird illness and nobody in the village could treat her.
Roohyang provided the elderly woman a bunch of herbs with the claim that her son would be fine, once he drink the tea made with these herbs. That was the one mistake Roohyang did and destroyed her own life.
The elderly woman had doubts that Roohyang was a witch, she believed that the herbs Roohyang was providing to the people of Velaris couldn't be available to any ordinary physician. The elderly woman planned to expose her, she lied about her son being ill and she required the herbs only a witch could avail her.
The elderly woman succeeded in her malicious plan. The words about Roohyang being a witch spread like a wildfire in forest, Roohyang became anxious. She could see her end, so to protect herself she began to roamed on the street of Velaris. When the king Haejon realized the consequences of avoiding such conflict, he announced the reward for Roohyang's head.
Roohyang was determined to survive, she traveled through city to city, and alas she arrived to the northern landscape, Thaloria.
It was a land of magicians and witches, providers of mythical objects and shapeshifter wolves. A place that her father should haven't abandoned, Roohyang believed.
Every breed of this land would get recognized with the shade of their eyes. The white wolves had ocean blue eyes, that glinted when their wolves instinct worked. Black wolves had icy blue eyes and witches had crimson shade eyes.
Roohyang traveled through the different landscapes. She would wandered around the north with the fear of being caught by the people of Velaris, until Roohyang encountered Park Eodum, a lord of his tribe and a most powerful white wolf of north.
Eodum couldn't control his desire to marry a most stunning lady appeared on the land of Thaloria. Roohyang needed a shelter at that time, she didn't think about any consequences and quickly married to Eodum without telling him that she was a witch, whilst she continued to change the shade of her eyes by using an ancient remedy.
Eodum provided her love, a home Roohyang always dreamt about. Immense amount of power as the Parker Tribe had been considered the powerful one in the north.
However, her fate once again turned her life upside down. A year passed without any trouble. Eodum was flying on the sky when he heard that his wife was pregnant. But Roohyang was concerned about her future.
Never in her entire life she saw a marriage between the two different breeds. Although for Eodum, she was merely a human but Roohyang knew the consequences of being a witch and hiding her secret.
One day Roohyang decided to reveal her truth, even though she knew that her husband would never accept such betrayal, but in the depth of her heart, Roohyang still had hope that perhaps her unconditional love and the baby in her womb would change Eodum's mind.
Eodum remained calm that night, he didn't say anything for a long period of hours, and then he asked Roohyang to abort the baby, and stayed at her side quietly. Whilst he thought about to get married again with a woman of his own breed.
Roohyang was once again shattered, her heart, her soul, broken in million of pieces. Suddenly the flickering light of hope disappeared and only darkness consumed her heart. Not just Eodum asked her to kill the baby, but he threatened that he would burn her alive and her baby if she let this baby born.
Roohyang was abandoned once again, but like the previous time she was determined to protect her baby. She knew that nobody would understand her, nobody would help her when her own husband became the hostile of her child.
That night, Roohyang ran away, believing that she would create her own little world for her baby, she would protect her baby no matter what breed he would become.
Roohyang began to travel through the land of Thaloria once again. Landscape to landscape, villages to villages, she met so many people but decided not to trust any of them. During her travelling, Roohyang gave birth to her baby. A loving son with rare eyes of purple shade, that reflected her own outstanding beauty.
Despite giving the birth to her son, which she named Jimin, Roohyang continued her journey to find a protective nest, after taking a promise to the old woman who accepted her as a guest and help her during the time, that she won't reveal her secret.
Alas, After travelling for months Roohyang found a mountain that was abandoned by the people of Thaloria, famous as the valley of dead. There were rumours that in the depth of forest in the mountains, witches who were killed hundred years ago by the wolves tribe of Thaloria, wandered into around as a ghost. Roohyang chosen this valley as her nest, she was more petrified of the living beings than the dead ones, gratefully the spirits of dead witches allowed her to stay.
Now, Roohyang's next concern were to cast a protection spell on herself and on the baby, afraid that Eodum's people would find her. She invested all her power and strength to cast a protecting spell.
Eodum tried to search for Roohyang into the depth of the mountains and forest but as if Roohyang entirely disappeared, even when he arrived at the valley of dead, he failed to see his wife and son.
Twenty years later, Roohyang was still disappeared and Eodum was trying to search for her, still wishing to burn her alive for betraying him twice and killing his own child. However, as the passed and Jimin grew up, the spell she casted on herself and Jimin, swallowed all her magic, and now she began to grew weak and older, a witch who was about to loose her magic.
