Taehyung entered into the chamber, drowned into the pitch black darkness. The lantern and the fire in the fire place were both turned off, the room seemed colder.
Taehyung approached Jimin with hesitant steps, making himself stood in front Jimin, who sat in a lotus position, not even moving. Taehyung's heart began to thudded loudly in his chest, at sight he got of Jimin, making Taehyung questioning to himself about how a man could be this gorgeous.
The soft glow of the moonlight filtered through the window, casting a gentle light on Jimin's delicate features. His pale, rosy cheeks were kissed by the dim light, making his beauty all the more breathtaking in the stillness of the room.
His silver hair shimmered in the moon’s embrace, falling messily over his forehead as beads of sweat ran down his skin. Jimin’s breathing was labored, his chest rising and falling with effort, and his once calm face was now twisted in pain. His forehead and neck were drenched with sweat, showing the toll his body was taking.
Taehyung's heart heavy with worry. He bent over his knees, his eyes never leaving Jimin’s face, a deep ache settling in his chest at the sight of Jimin's suffering. Taehyung’s fingers trembled as he lowered his gaze to Jimin’s stomach, where the wound had begun to bleed once more.
The sight of the crimson stain spreading across his clothes filled Taehyung with fear, helplessness weighing on his shoulders. His mind raced, desperate to find a way to stop the bleeding, to ease Jimin’s pain, but all he could do was stay by his side, praying for the strength to save him.
"Jimin can you hear me?" Taehyung asked in a concern voice, but Jimin didn't response. He merely flinched his brows through pain.
Taehyung worriedly touched Jimin's cheek, his body temperature was cold, his breath now became faster and faster, and then he opened his eyes with a long gasp.
Taehyung quickly pulled his hand back, "Are you alright?" He asked.
Jimin barely managed to nod his head,"You're finally here, I had something to tell you."
"We'll talk about this later, first let me get you to the bed." Taehyung suggested, he raised his hand and helped Jimin to get up.
Gathering all his remaining energy, Jimin stood up. The world around him seemed to twist, his vision blurred, rolling his eyes Jimin began to lose his balance, but Taehyung quickly grabbed his waist and pulled him closer.
They stood just inches apart, their bodies almost touching as an intense silence wandered in to the room. None of them said anything, but their eyes locked in an unbreakable gaze, filled with emotions they couldn't explain in words. It was as if time had slowed down, and the rest of the world had faded away, leaving only the two of them in this quiet moment.
Even the gentle breeze seemed to pause, everything else felt distant, unimportant. There was only the quiet understanding passing between them, a feeling that went beyond words, deeper than anything they had felt before.
Taehyung swallowed, it was hard for him to resist the urge to kiss those plumpy lips. The child like Innocence Jimin carried in his small doe eyes.
"I...I think I should rest." Jimin broke the awkward silence.
Taehyung nervously nodded his head, "Yes, I think you should take some rest." He said, led their way to the bed.
Jimin sat at the center of the bed, leaned his head at the back, Taehyung poured him a glass of water and entrusted him, "What you were doing that made you this weak?" Asked Taehyung, he sounded disappointed, not appreciating the nonchalant act of Jimin.
"I spiritually teleported myself back to my home land to see my friend." Jimin replied, trying to control his pain.
Taehyung looked at Jimin in bewilderment, "You have friends there?" He asked.
Jimin nodded, his finger tracing the edges of the glass, his grip tightened, "A dead witch." He replied numbly, then took the few sips of water and gulped down to his throat.
Taehyung's heart again, he realized how much Jimin must have felt lonely in his entire life, living among the dead witches and wild animals, not knowing about the outside world and suddenly loosing the only person who cared for him.
Jimin's story was nothing but a clear definition of pain and endurance. Taehyung cleared his throat, "I'll treat your wounds since you asked me to give you treatment." He said in a low tone, as his heart felt so heavy.
"I asked you to treat me because I can't trust anyone." Jimin replied, his violet eyes suddenly became widened as he gazed at Taehyung, "You shared a meal with me, and you seems different from the people of Velaris, who forbid my mother, so I think you're trustable." He explained, and each word Jimin said, carried a pain and anguish in it.
"I would never break your trust and that a promise." Taehyung said.
