As Jimin stood in his childhood home, he felt a comforting warmth surrounding him. The air was filled with memories, but the sight of his mother, Roohyang, made him feel a mixture of joy and sadness. She stood there, smiling elegantly, but Jimin sensed a seriousness in her gaze.

“Mother,” he called softly, then he rose up from the bed in a rush and took his mother in his embrace, "I thought I would never be able to see you again." He said in a trembling voice.

"How can I not come to see you," Roohyang said, her smile faded slightly as she dragged herself away and looked at him with concern. “What is it, Jimin? You look troubled.”

“I’ve been thinking about using dark magic,” he admitted, his voice shaking a little. “I need to help Taehyung break the curse you placed on the people of Velaris. It’s the only way to protect him, ans I need to break the curse of mine those witches put in me”

Roohyang’s eyes widened with worry. “Jimin, please don’t. Dark magic is dangerous. It can change you in ways you don’t understand. I put the curse on the people because I was angry, but that anger doesn’t justify using dark magic.”

“But, Mother, Taehyung is going to be my consort,” Jimin pleaded, his heart racing. “He deserves to be safe, and I want to lift the curse. I’ll do whatever it takes.”

Roohyang stepped closer, her expression softening. She gently caressed Jimin’s cheek with her hand, her touch sending warmth through him. “Jimin, listen to me. I understand your desire to protect Taehyung and the people of Velaris. That love is powerful. Since Taehyung is going to be your consort, I will lift the curse myself. I take back my words.”

“Really?” Jimin’s eyes lit up with hope. “You would do that for me?”

“Yes,” she replied, her voice calm and soothing. “You will no longer feel any pain. Each wound you have will heal, the curses would be broken and your enemies will suffer for their actions. Live a happy life, my son.”

Tears of gratitude welled up in Jimin’s eyes as he felt a weight lift from his heart. “Thank you, Mother,” he whispered, feeling overwhelmed with love and relief.

With a gentle smile, Roohyang stepped back, slowly fading away. “Remember, my love is always with you,” she said softly before disappearing completely.

Jimin jolted awake in his bed, his heart racing. It took him a moment to realize it had all been a dream. He sat up, feeling the remnants of his mother’s warmth on his cheek. Though it was just a dream, the feelings of hope and love remained with him, filling him with determination.

Jimin wiped the tears from his eyes and stood up, heading towards the long sash mirror placed in front of his bed. He recalled his mother's words in his mind, and unwillingly he pulled his robe, the wound on his chest was disappeared completely. His eyes widened in disbelief, Jimin failed to understand the reason how easily his wound healed. He then entirely opened his robe and pulled at his side, the wound on his stomach disappeared as well.

Jimin realized now, that his mother appeared in his dream, despite that her soul was resting in peace, she came to visit him only to break the curses on the people of Velaris and the one the dead witches casted on him.

Jimin felt a surge of determination as he quickly dressed and rushed out of his chamber. The dream with his mother still fresh in his mind, he ran through the halls of the castle, his heart pounding with excitement and urgency. He knew he needed to share the good news with Taehyung and the other governors. As he reached the courtyard, he could see the royal meeting already in session.

The large room was filled with tension, and the governors whom Taehyung had once banned from the courtyard stood in a row, looking serious. Taehyung sat on his throne, a look of anger on his face as he glared at the men before him.

Jimin could sense his frustration, and it only made him more anxious to speak with him. Jimin took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart, and entered the room, bowing respectfully to everyone.

Jimin made eye contact with Taehyung, silently signaling for him to meet him in private. Taehyung’s expression turned from anger to curiosity, but he couldn’t leave the meeting just yet. He was stuck in the middle of discussing the recent actions of the governors, who had shown disloyalty to his rule.

Jimin observed Taehyung’s body language, his hands clenched into fists and the tense lines around his mouth told Jimin that he was struggling to maintain his composure.

As the governors continued to apologize for their past actions, Jimin felt a mix of emotions. They were finally accepting Taehyung as their king, but he wanted to tell Taehyung about his mother’s visit and the promises she had made. Jimin stood silently in the room, listening to the apologies and assurances from the governors, who were now expressing their loyalty to Taehyung.

“We understand now,” one of the governors said, his voice shaky with regret. “We acted foolishly, and we accept you as our king from the bottom of our hearts. We promise to support your decisions and your reign.”

Jimin watched as Taehyung’s gaze softened a little, but he could still sense the lingering anger. Jimin could read Taehyung’s thoughts as clearly as if he had spoken them. "Let’s meet after this meeting," Taehyung thought, and Jimin nodded slightly, feeling a surge of relief.

Taehyung then diverted his attention back to the governors, "Who says that you're not plotting against me." He said in growling voice.

"If this happens again then we will accept any punishment." One of the governor said.

Namjoon who had been witnessing the situation, stepped ahead, "Whatever happened your majesty! Was my mistake too, I wasn't able to control the situation, but now I shall serve you from all my loyalty."

Taehyung swallowed, he still didn't know if Namjoon was speaking truth or not, but he had no other choice besides to accept their apologies, "Alright, then I will lift the ban from all the governors, but remember, if I observes anything cunning happening among you, this time the punishment will be more curler than ever." He announced in a loud voice, with his words, Taehyung stood up, and approached the door, receiving a bow from all the governors.
