Taehyung and Jimin sat across each other at the dinning table. The fear of being poisoned still lingered in Taehyung's heart. No doubt Jimin observed and decided to dinning together. Jimin always smelled the food, the royal servants brought on the table, and then when Jimin expressed his satisfaction, Taehyung would eat, it became a daily ritual.

To provide a further gentle ambiance, Taehyung had commanded the royal servants to organized the dinning table in the grand hall, so that Jimin could feel the nature while he eats. It was one of the most gentle gesture, Taehyung did for Jimin.

"You can start, everything is fine." Jimin said, as he began to eat.

"Thank you." Taehyung expressed his gratitude, he took a small chunk of meat into his mouth and chewed gently.

Although, Jimin always preferred to eat freely, he grabbed the rib and snatched the meat with his teeth.

"Do we need to be formal?" Jimin answered.

"No, eat anything as you wish." Taehyung comforted.

"I'm not talking about food, I'm talking about us." Jimin said, "You did a lot of things to me, but have I ever thanked to you? No, I know I don't have any acknowledgment about royalties but I don't want you to be formal with me, because I want to be someone who wants to make you realize that you're a human too." He pouted.

Taehyung smiled warmly at Jimin, his heart swelling with affection as he admired his sweet, playful demeanor. “Alright, I’ll be careful,” he said, agreeing to Jimin’s wishes.

Jimin giggled, his eyes lighting up and crinkling into a half-moon shape. “I was thinking about the ritual,” he began, his voice taking on a serious tone that shifted the mood around them to something more serene. “The one to break the curse. I think we should do it before the wedding.”

Taehyung's expression shifted to bewilderment. “Why would you change your mind?” he asked, curiosity lacing his voice.

“I thought about it, and I realized it could be dangerous,” Jimin replied, concern creasing his brow. “I would be weak because of the curse, and what if my father tries to hurt us?” His voice trembled slightly as he shared his fears. “So I need to break the curse before we get married.”

Taehyung nodded, his heart heavy with worry. “Is there anything specific you need for it?”

“I have to go to the forbidden place,” Jimin explained, his tone resolute. “I’ll play the melody there, and eventually, the curse will break.”

“Alright, I’ll go with you,” Taehyung insisted, wanting to protect him.

Jimin shook his head, his expression firm. “No, it’s dark magic. I have to go alone.”

“Dark magic? Have you done it before?” Taehyung asked, panic creeping into his voice.

“No, I’ve never used dark magic. My magic is pure, like nature,” Jimin reassured him. “I can heal others and perform rituals with spells. I can control elements, but breaking curses is different. It requires powerful dark magic, and I don’t know what could happen.”

“Then don’t do it,” Taehyung pleaded, his eyes filled with concern. “I can’t bear the thought of you getting involved in dark magic.”

“It’s impossible to avoid. I need to break two curses, and for that, I have to try dark magic. It’s the only way,” Jimin insisted, determination shining in his eyes despite the fear beneath the surface.

Taehyung sighed, torn between his worry for Jimin and understanding the urgency of the situation. The weight of their conversation hung heavy between them, filled with unspoken fears and a deep bond that neither wanted to break.

After dinner, Taehyung and Jimin walked toward their chambers, both resolved to hold their marriage. Taehyung struggled to accept that Jimin was planning to use dark magic. He desperately wanted to protect Jimin, but as the king of Eldoria, he knew he had a duty to protect his subjects, too.

As he lay on his comfortable bed, Taehyung couldn’t sleep. His mind was filled with worries and tangled thoughts. Meanwhile, Jimin had already drifted into a deep slumber, sleeping peacefully like a baby for the first time in a long while.

When Jimin finally opened his eyes, he found himself in his childhood home. He looked around, taking in the familiar surroundings, and then he saw his mother standing a few steps away, smiling elegantly at him.
