Park Jimin, A Hybrid born with a Witch and Wolf Blood.

Valley of Dead: Thaloria.

The night embraced the darkness, tall oak and pine trees dangled with the cool breeze, soaked in silver moonlight. Jimin dashed through the forest, reaching to the depth, his lavender eyes glinted, as he sped up inhumanly, beating the fasts gusts of wind, his surroundings appeared blurred to the corner of his eyes.

In a split of second, Jimin arrived at field, his intense gaze fixed at the giant deer stood across the field. He crouched low, hide himself amid the bush, the purple glow in his eyes deepened, long pointy nails and sharp canon teeth appeared, his shoulder length sleek hair flowing over his slim waist as he tilted his neck and majored the distance.

With cautious steps, Jimin crept closer, making sure not to make a sound. When he arrived near enough, he leaped forward with speed and strength. Without waisting a moment, Jimin skillfully clutched the deer with his claws, digging his nails deeper into its neck and draining the life out of it.

"Sorry mate...but tonight you're my food." Jimin muttered. He stood up holding the deer with his hand and dashed himself back to the forest.

The whispers and chanting echoed into the wind, as if many women talking with one and another, making the night further intense. But Jimin became used to it, he grew up in these forest, hearing the whispers of the dead witches, and sometimes talking with them.

Tiara was one the dead witch, his closes friend, at least that what she claimed, she was a young lady killed in massacre that occured hundred of years ago. Her family had traveled down to the village leaving her to the wolves of Thaloria who attacked witches.

"You didn't use your magic." Tiara said, her long hair dangling upon her slim waist, pale blue skin that differed her with the living beings.

"It was a mere deer, I didn't need magic." Jimin answered sarcastically, as he slowed down his speed to match his steps with Tiara.

"Magic is always important, you will needed everytime in the future, as your life soon would change drastically." Tiara said sarcastically, rolling her eyes, she never thought about her words that pierced his heart like an arrow.

Jimin sighed in annoyance, yet he concealed his face with calm expressions"If you're here to talk about my future then you can leave." He restricted her.

It was a regular occurrence, Tiara would bring up discussions about Jimin's future, trying to get him to think ahead, but he always refused to listen. To Jimin, knowing what the future held felt like it would stolen his present, as if it would spoil the life he was living right now.

"Don't you ever want to know what is going to happen with you?" Tiara asked curiously, she almost sounds disappointed.

Jimin shook his head, "I can't control my future as like I'm not capable of control my magic."

"I can help you." Tiara insisted.

"I'm grateful but no need." Jimin denied.

"Alright! Why don't we looked into your past, it's more interesting." Tiara suggested, she stood before him, giggling childishly.

Jimin irritatingly chewed his lower lip,"Why don't you disappeared?"

"I won't, cause I'm concerned that you're not prepared for your nearest future, you're careless and immature even though you're twenty." Tiara said, her pale face grew darker as she looked in his eyes, "And it's been two years since you're practicing your magic but you didn't learn to control, what a shame?." She added with a shrug of her shoulders.

Jimin busted out in a laugh, he almost lost his balance, but maintained himself, "You sounds like a bunch of enemies going to attack on me." Jimin said, began to walk again, "Well let me remind you, that this valley is abandoned and thanks to you and your other dead mate, nobody visited this place since last fifty years, so stop waisting your time and do it something worthy." As usual, his words defined his nonchalant behavior.

But Jimin wasn't at fault, or was he?. Never in his twenty years of life, Jimin encountered any other being, he didn't know the hardships of the world that his mother abandoned long time ago. He never knew that outside, his father still waiting for the opportunity to kill him, wandering around to the Thaloria.

Tiara turned back to look at Jimin, dashing himself to the edge of the forest in speed, and how glad he looked, unaware of the danger lurking around him."Your father once had visited this place but your mother's magic protected you, she casted a spell on herself and you and now that magic slowly disappearing, your mother growing older and she won't be able to protect you Jimin. " She muttered, as she watched Jimin fading from her sight.

"Mother look what I got for the dinner." Jimin said, he jumped near the small fireplace where Roohyang sat over the stone, placing a pot on the stove, his face blooming with the fondness for his mother, the only one who loved him.

"You brought the deer I can smell the blood." Roohyang said, endearingly caressed his face.

Jimin giggled, he scrunched his nose and then pecked his mother's hand, "You sit aside and let me make a meal for tonight." He said.

"Alright, if you're insisting then take the charge." Roohyang said, she stood up and allowed Jimin to take her place.

The night moved on its own gentle pace. Jimin carefully prepared a meal, pouring his heart into every dish. After they both enjoyed the delicious dinner he made, Jimin and his mother decided to linger a little longer, savoring the quiet moments they shared together.

"Why don't you play some flute for me.?" Roohyang asked, her eyes sparkling as she looked at her son with fascination.

"Why not mother?" Jimin replied, he stood up and took his flute out.

As Jimin played a soulful melody, the atmosphere transformed, becoming almost magical. The spirits of long dead witches began to gather, their pale faces suddenly glowing with life. Even the animals seemed to come alive, as if Jimin was communicating with them through his music.

Roohyang felt the warmth of tears in her eyes, her son had grew under the protection of her spell, but her heart ached when she thought about the world she had entrusted to her son. A world of dead witches and wild animals, where lonesome wandered, where the night drowned into the silence and morning brought nothing but a another long hours of loneliness.

Jimin never asked any question, as he knew it made her mother doomed. He gently and very warmly accepted this world, but in the depth of his heart, Jimin desired to know the reason of abandoning the outside world. He desperately wanted to know if there were someone other like him.

The soft melody slowly began to narrate the pain Jimin often felt at long nights. However, what made his heart doomed even further was the solemn face of his mother. Something Roohyang was trying to hide, Jimin could assumed, but as like his every question, he suppressed his curiosity and continued to play.

Roohyang wiped the tears that rolled down her cheek, she then took a deep breath and shut her eyes closed and began to pray for his son's protection. "Oh dear lord of nature, I call upon you, I pray from you, begged you for your mercy. Please protect my child from the evil world of outside, it's a last wish of mine, always brought the light upon him." She stopped then opened her eyes and glanced at Jimin playing the flute, a smile carved upon his face, but he still looked solemn.
