Jimin woke up with a long gasp, his forehead drenched in sweat, heart thudded loudly in his chest. Although his wounds had began to healed but the lost of his mother still ached his soul. Every night, when Jimin would shut his eyes closed to take a peaceful slumber, the memories of that terrible night flooded back to his mind.
However, this time, his nightmares didn't stop at the agonizing memories of that night. Jimin saw something else in his dreams, an old man with precious royal clothing poisoning a cup of tea, then Jimin saw the same cup of tea in Taehyung's room, it was a large plush room, with lavish wooden furniture and round canopy bed with red silk bedsheets.
It was a quick flashes, like scene by scene, although Jimin failed to see the face of the old man who intended to poisoned the Taehyung, however, he saw a burning mark on the old man's hand.
Jimin knew that his dreams were no ordinary ones. His mother had told him about the prophecies that witches receive through their dreams. Concern became visible over his face as Jimin made himself sit over the bed, he then stepped out of the blanket and approached the window.
The sun rose, casting a soft light over the land. The sky had a faint orange glow, and the air felt cool and fresh. Jimin looked out, seeing the morning mist slowly fading. Birds began to sing in the distance, and the forest seemed calm and quiet. Despite the peaceful view, his thoughts were troubled by the dream about Taehyung.
Jimin knew he had to tell Taehyung everything. He needed to warn him that people around him wanted to cause him harm. But what troubled him the most was whether Taehyung would believe him.
"Alright! He would tell everything to Taehyung, then the rest will be on him." Thought Jimin, a heavy sigh escaped his lips, and Jimin decided to reveal the truth.
Suddenly, the light knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. "I'm coming in." Seokjin said, he pushed the door and stepped inside.
Jimin still stood near the window, but his eyes softened as now he felt less threatened, at least after sharing a same meal with Taehyung, Jimin began to eat.
Seokjin entrusted him a warm smile, he brought a man with him, who held a huge tray, with different bowls of soups and meat.
"I don't know what you actually like but I prepared a meal made with meat." Seokjin said, he gestured the man and commanded him to place the tray on the table.
"I'm grateful for what you're providing, it's more than enough." Jimin replied in a soft tone.
"Well, today our physician Yoongi would visit you to check your wounds, I hope you don't have any trouble with it." Seokjin informed.
Jimin thought for a moment, "I want Taehyung to treat my wounds." It sounded more like a command instead of an offer.
Seokjin felt the utter disappointment, but he could clearly seen that Jimin already held the more power compared to Taehyung, his one denial could worsen the situation of Verasil.
"You know you're talking about a king of Eldoria." Seokjin said in a firm tone.
A smirk appeared over Jimin's lips, "No, I'm talking about someone who requires my help in many ways." He said in a mockery.
Seokjin's fist tightened against him, for a moment he urged to threw a punch on Jimin's face, but he knew the power even a wounded hybrid could access.
"Alright, I'll inform about your demand to his majesty." Seokjin said, then he turned to leave but Jimin stopped him.
"Tell him not to eat or drink anything." Jimin said.
Seokjin's frowned, "What do you mean?" He asked in utter bewilderment.
"I'll tell him the details once Taehyung visit me." Jimin replied, then he turned back to the window, and Seokjin took his leave.
Jimin found himself alone once more. The chamber he was in was four times bigger than the small home he used to live in, made of simple wood and dried grass. But despite the grand space, he deeply missed the mountains, the forest, and all the moments he had shared with his mother there.
As the pain in his heart grew stronger, Jimin decided to use his magic to see his mother. Jimin knew, that it was hard and required a lot strength, and besides everything, he needed to control his magic, but despite all the hardships, Jimin forced himself to break the walls.
Without waisting any time, Jimin headed towards the fireplace and sat in a lotus position at few inches away. He then closed his eyes and recalled his mother's words.
"Remember one thing Jimin, magic is all about the power that burried in the depth of our mind. An ordinary human can't reach to that power, but a witch not just reach to that deepness but also uses that power. So when you uses your magic, focus into the depth of your mind. Once you get access their you'll be the most powerful hybrid in the world, and will be able to control your magic."
Jimin pondered over the depth of his mind, one by one he recalled all the memories. How much his life was carefree, how desperately Tiara was signaling him about the unfortunate events of his life that occured later.
Regret weighed heavily on Jimin's heart, its roots growing deeper as he cursed himself for failing to protect his mother. In a fit of anger, he bit his lip so hard that it started to bleed. The fire in the fireplace roared higher, but Jimin sat still for hours, refusing to move. Even as the sun set behind the mountains and the moon began to shine in the night sky, he remained in the same position.
As the time passed, Jimin began to feel chilly, as the cold gust of wind caressed his face, when he opened his eyes, he sat in the valley of dead, in front of him, the person that stood was nobody but Tiara herself, a wide smile contorted her face, her eyes gleaming with joy.
Jimin couldn't believe he was able to see Tiara. His eyes filled with tears, a lump formed in his throat and he swallowed, standing upon his feet, Jimin desperately approached Tiara, "I missed you so much." He said in a trembling voice.
