"So you're telling me that Jimin that hybrid has an ability to change your fate, and he's supposed to kill his father." Hoseok repeated, he tilted his neck and pondered over the situation, as he sat at the couch placed in Taehyung's chamber.

Taehyung nodded, "I don't know should I take risk or not." He said.

A heavy sigh escaped from Hoseok's lips, he placed the cup of tea back to the table and cleared his throat.

"It would be a biggest risk but I would suggest to you keep that hybrid closer." Hoseok began, " Because at this time, you're surrounded by the enemies, all the governors want to eliminate you and we all know how Namjoon is feeding their anger, so if you show your faith on Jimin, then it could bring a great amount of benefits, because I believe that Jimin also needed to survive, he need to avenge his father and if Eodum dies, then you gets Thaloria but the governors would never let this happen, so I believe you both need each other to survive this path of Thorns." He suggested.

Taehyung pondered over the advice given by Hoseok, "You're right, we both need each other to survive, but he thinks it's only me who need him" He said.

"Looks like that hybrid giving you a hard time." Hoseok said with a smile.

"Not just he's giving me a hard time, but he's throwing tantrums." Taehyung replied.

"Maybe he feels comfortable with you, since this place is strange for him." Hoseok said.

Taehyung felt a wave of joy washing over him, "Perhaps." He said, his cheeks turning red as he thought about Jimin.

"Anyway, when he's going to break the curse?" Hoseok asked curiously.

"Not yet, he's recovering but because of the poison the process is slow, and besides I didn't tell him anything, so I believe it's quite take time." Taehyung explained, he finally grabbed the cup of tea and took towards his mouth.

"We don't have enough time, many people are dying." Hoseok expressed his concern.

"I know, but I can't risk his life when he's important for the situation." Taehyung said.

They both shared the random conversation over the cups of tea. How Taehyung banned half of the governors ana how it impact the Verasil politically. Suddenly, Riyan appeared in the room, he bowed, "Your majesty! General commander Kim Seokjin sent you a message, he said your guest aksed you to treat his wounds and he told you to not to eat and drink anything." He said.

Silence wandered into the room, as Taehyung raised his brows, he quickly placed the cup of tea back on the table, struggled to make any assumption.

"I believe Jimin saw something in his dream, that's why he asked you to not to eat or drink anything." Hoseok added.

Taehyung thought for a moment, "Tell them I'll visit him in few hours." He said.

Riyan respectfully bowed and then he took his leave.

"I shall take my leave roo, but remember Taehyung, be careful, after all he's a creature of north." Hoseok informed, he stood up and then headed outside of the room.

As usual, Taehyung carefully disguised himself as an ordinary local of Verasil, blending into the bustling town unnoticed. He took extra care to hide his face beneath a simple mask, a precaution he never failed to take during his secret outings.

Beside Taehyung, his loyal companion Riyan followed his command, obediently concealing his own identity behind a similar mask. The two of them knew that they couldn’t risk anyone recognizing them, especially in a place like Verasil, where news traveled fast, and curious eyes were always watching.

The horse cart stood outside of his chamber, Taehyung quickly approached but unfortunately, Namjoon appeared from his back.

"I wonder the reason why your majesty is going out at this hour of night.?" Namjoon taunted, his curiosity reached at it's peak and he decided to inquired Taehyung, to get anything that he could use as his own benefits.

Taehyung pulled the mask from his face and turned back, his face as calm as the midnight sky gleaming under the dim moonlight, "Is there any rule that bind me not to go outside at night.?" He said, the corner of his mouth moving upwards into a smirk.

"Of course not, but I'd like to say he careful. There are people that thirsty for your blood." Namjoon warned maliciously.

Taehyung scoffed, "It's not me who need to be careful but you, Hyung-nim." His voice softened as he answered, "The game you're playing is dangerous, don't trust on those governors too much, they're just using you for their own sake, I don't want you to have any regrets, so come back to me, because I need you the most." Taehyung said, his eyes twinkling with tears he tried to suppressed.

Namjoon couldn't control his emotions, he preferred not to say anything further, quietly leaving the courtyard, as suddenly the childhood memories flooded back in to his mind. The time when he had no grudge against anyone, when Taehyung was his endearing brother. But now as Namjoon grew up and realized that he was nothing but an illegitimate child of his father, he became desperate to earned himself a strong position.

Taehyung watched him until he disappointed from his sight, a heavy burden weighing on his heart, "Let's go." He said, settling himself inside the cart.
