Jimin found himself in a strange place, surrounded by darkness, but somehow, there was a faint light that allowed him to see clearly. The air was freezing cold, and the icy wind brushed against his skin, making him shiver.

As he stood there, he heard soft whispers echoing all around him, growing louder and more insistent. He could tell the voices were trying to convey a message, trying to scared him.

"Why you have to killed us all?"

"The prophecy came true!"

"You have to pay for your sins."

"Killing witches is not something easy."

Jimin swallowed, "You're the one who invited your deaths, you should have never came to kill me." He replied stubbornly, restricting himself to feel petrified.

In a hope to find out where he arrived, Jimin began to walk, but as if the place has no direction. Suddenly Jimin recalled an old memory about the day when Roohyang had told him about this strange place, "The Dark World where all the dead souls rested, who denied to roam around the human world."

Jimin's mind tangled, as he wondered what happened with him and how he arrived in the dark world. "Mother, can you hear me?" He asked, his voice echoed.

"Of course I can hear you my love." Roohyang answered, her voice as usual sounds like a melody to Jimin.

Tears stung Jimin’s eyes as he looked at the figure of his mother appearing before him. His heart ached with a deep sadness.
"Mother, why did you leave me all alone?" Jimin asked, his voice trembling, each word heavy with pain. His breath came in unsteady gasps as he struggled to keep his emotions in check.

"I was supposed to leave you one day." Roohyang replied, her pale face carved a dim smile, "But remember one thing my lovely son, I'm always with you, so you have to survive for me, and now listen to me carefully." She said serenely.

Jimin nodded his head, "Yes mother!".

"The king and the people of Velaris needs you, they're fighting with the plaque and only you can protect them, that's the way of your survival." Roohyang suggested, "Promise me, you would protect yourself from everyone and would seek our avenge from your father." She said.

Jimin nodded again, "I promise I would survive and avenge my father." He answered.

Roohyang's smile widened, "Now it's time to awake since you can't stay hear for so long." She said.

Jimin woke up with a sharp gasp, slowly opening his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar place, the royal chamber. It was a large room with a high wooden ceiling and rounded walls. The long sash windows were covered with silk drapes, and the room was decorated with wooden furniture and a soft woolen carpet.

For the next few moments, Jimin lay still on the bed, his body aching with every breath he took. It felt like pain radiating from every part of him. As Jimin became more aware, he noticed bandages wrapped around his stomach and near the shoulder, covering the wounds on his palms.

Unfamiliar to the place Jimin tried to move his hand, but even that small effort sent a sharp, shooting pain through him. His fragile body lacked the strength, and he felt utterly helpless. Every breath was a reminder of just how broken he was.

An agonizing groan escaped his lips, as Jimin recalled the memories that flooded his mind. How terribly he was tortured by his own father, how unfairly his mother died. Every scene wandered into his mind, seeping to his bones, like a permanent pain.

After escaping the Valley of dead, Jimin had traveled through the large Luminiara sea for few days and then as the poison spread into his body, he loosened his consciousness before arriving in Velaris.

Jimin still didn't know how he survived for days without having any meal, he just remembered laying on his boat and staring at the sky.

"Was I captured by Eodum? Or did I arrive in Velaris?" Petrified and tangled, Jimin thought, but no answer came into his mind. The only favor, Jimin could do to himself was to wait for someone to arrive.

Soothed by the soft cozy bed, Jimin diverted his attention towards his dream, he recalled the promise he made with his mother, to avenging his father and protecting himself. However, Jimin had no idea about his next move, he didn't know where he was and who saved him? Were they his enemies or someone Jimin should trust.
