Tiara, one of the dead witch of Valley of dead.
Jimin stood amid the forest, he just had finished his task of cutting the woods, and then collecting the bunch of herbs, his mother had told him. What made his situation hard was that, Roohyang had restricted him to use any of his wolf strength.
"Why mother ask me not to use my strength?" Jimin muttered, he shook his head, annoyance evident in his voice. "By the time I would go home, it would be late at night."
The herbs, Roohyang required, contained the ability of decomposing the effect of any poison. As a half witcher, Jimin required to learn such valuable remedy.
"Who would poison me anyway?" Clueless about his situation Jimin thought, as he walked through the rocky ground of the forest, carrying the clusters of woods on his shoulder.
Jimin trudged to the edge of the serene lake, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow over the water. He carefully placed the clusters of wood on the grass beside him, the small pouch of the herbs still hanging around his waist.
Jimin sat down with a tired sigh, the rough ground cool against him. The lake's surface sparkled with small waves, catching the soft light of the day. He leaned forward and dipped his hands into the clear, cool water, then he cupped his hands and brought the water to his lips.
Once Jimin got rid of his thirst, he stood up and stretched his body, Languidly he approached the large oak tree to take some rest. The cool breeze softly caressed his face as he leaned against the trunk. The distant chirping of birds added a melodic background. Jimin closed his eyes and allowing himself to lost in a deep slumber.
The rustling sound in the bush abrupted his sleep. Jimin opened his eyes and rubbed them to get a clear vision. The sun had already sat, darkness concealed the clouds, Jimin observed something strange, the ambiance of the forest was anxious and upset. Cry of the night owls echoed, signaling something sinister about to happened.
Jimin pondered over the unfamiliar voices coming from the other side of the forest. It seemed like a clusters of horses running closer to the valley of dead. He stood up in hurry, his sharp gaze wandered through the large forrest and he saw a group of unfamiliar people, riding horses in the field, heading towards the valley of dead.
Jimin couldn't count them, as they were so many, he thought to get a closer glimpse of the unfamiliar people with blue eyes, as he never saw anyone from the outside world. His curiosity reached at it's peak, when Jimin thought about to dashed himself closer to the field, Tiara appeared anxiously behind him.
"Run from here." She shouted from his back.
Jimin turned to look at her, his eyes wide with intense terror at her sudden command. Whilst, Tiara reached out to him, trying to grab his hand, her fingers passed through his palm like a ghostly mist. The cold, intangible touch left her feeling heartbroken and helpless, unable to physically connect with him.
"You need to leave this place, don't worry about your mother, my friend will inform her." Tiara said, her voice trembled, she turned at her side, a young girl named Anabel appeared, another dead witch, "Go and inform Roohyang about the situation." She commanded.
Anabel looked at Jimin, she had talked with him few times, but unlike Tiara she had no interest to wander around the living beings.
"You have to protect yourself." Anabel suggested.
Jimin failing to assumed the situation, as he was still unknown to his past Roohyang kept hidden from him, shifted his eyes back to Tiara, "Why you both looks so upset? Shouldn't we go and check who they people are? I've never seen anyone from the outside world." Said Jimin, his voice contorted with curiosity.
"You have lost your mind." Tiara scolded, "That's why I was constantly telling you to prepare for the nearest situation." She said in annoyance.
"We didn't know that the situation would be this close." Anabel interrupted.
"What situation you're talking about?" Jimin asked, frustration evident in his voice as he cluelessly stared at both of them.
Tiara thought for a moment, remembering the promise all witches had taken with Roohyang, the promise of not revealing anything, until Jimin learned to control his magic. But she couldn't hide the secret any further, when Eodum had already arrived in the valley of dead.
"He's your father, Park Eodum, the one leading the others, and he came to kill you, he never wanted to bring you in this world since the beginning, he even threatened to burn you and your mother alive, that's why your mother abandoned the entire world." Tiara said, her face turned solemn for a moment, as she observed agony appeared on Jimin's face.
Jimin felt as if someone pulled the ground from his feet. He always had a strong urge to see his father, to know about him, he desperately wanted to Know why his mother abandoned the world? Why he always supposed to live in the valley of dead?. As now Tiara unraveled the darkest truth of his life, Jimin's heart sunk from pain.
