          When I opened my eyes everything was dark, the only light coming from the small tv on the wall. Lord why didn't you just let me die? I looked around and my heart swelled at the sight. KD was sitting in a chair sleep, Glock was laying on the floor sleep and Jade and Mimi somehow made they way in the bed with me. I instantly started crying and I really don't know why. "What's wrong?" Glock's voice startled me as he got up from the floor.

He got up so fast you would've thought he was The Flash. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you up." I said quietly as I wiped my tears. "I wasn't sleep, what's wrong?" "I'm just happy all y'all here. And h-he raped me, Tig raped me." I started sobbing. He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me tightly. "It's ight bae, he ain't gone never be able to hurt you again. I promise you that." And as soon as those words left his mouth, the news started playing.

"The body that was found on 12th Ave has been identified as twenty- three year old Trayvon Simmons. As of now detectives have no leads but they are asking that if you know something, please say something." My whole body tensed up then went numb. "I gotta throw up." I started fanning my face. I jumped out the bed and ran to the bathroom. I hate him and I want him dead so why the mention of him actually being dead is making me sick to my stomach?

I started thinking about his family. He got two kids. Well that I know of, what they gone do without they daddy? His mom lost her only son. Wait a damn minute... He ain't feel bad when he raped me and thought I was dead so why the fuck am I feeling bad? I sat on my knees and just cried. "You okay?" Mimi asked groggily from the doorway, Jade standing right besides her.

"I wanted him dead so why knowing he dead making me sick to my stomach? He raped me and thought he killed me and just went on bout his business!" I angrily cried. "Makyha that was yo first love, yo body is conflicted right now." Jade tried to reason with how I'm feeling. "No no noooo." I covered my ears. "Do the police know what he did to me? Do they know it was him?" "Yeah um they performed a rape kit on you and found his dna under your fingernails." Mimi cleared her throat.

"And with the story Kobe told them. They went to go pick him up but that's when they got the call he was already dead." Jade whispered. We all know who killed him. My thing is, how they gone get away with it? But the best thing is not to ask no questions and get any details. Therefore if the police ever ask me any questions, I really don't and won't know shit.

I heard the door open then an unfamiliar voice. "Oh where is she?" "She good, she using the bathroom." Glock responded. "She needs to be back in bed, resting." The voice got closer. I never seen this man a day in my life but as he stood in the doorway of the bathroom, my heart started pounding outta my chest. "Come o-." "No don't come in here!" I started backing away. "Please don't let him come in here." I started crying again.

Mimi and Jade stood in front of me. "I'm sorry I don't think she's comfortable right now." Jade looked emphatic. "No I completely understand and I apologize. I'll be back shortly with the doctor to check on you." He walked out. "Oh my gosh I was so rude to him for no reason, he ain't do nothing to me!" I tried to wipe my tears but they kept falling. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me, it feel like I'm bout to lose my fucking MIND!

"Hey hey hey just calm down okay? Nobody mad at you or offended, just relax." Mimi kneeled down in front of me and said. "Okay." I sniffled and nodded. Jade and Mimi helped me off the floor and walked me back to bed. "You okay?" KD looked at me concerned. "Yes. No, I don't know." I felt myself about to cry again. "This all my fault." My voice cracked. "I should've called one of y'all when he refused to leave, now look."

            "Ain't shit yo fault!" Glock snapped. "And don't fix yo mouth to say no stupid shit like that no more." KD snapped too. A soft knock was at the door then it opened. "Hi Makyha, I'm Dr. Wilson. How are you feeling?" The female doctor walked inside fully. "I'm good." I blinked away tears. "I'm just gonna examine you, is that alright with you?" "That's fine." I nodded. She nodded and started checking me.

           "Okay like I explained to your husband and your siblings, you have lacerations to the neck, bruised ribs and a mild concussion. I want to keep you for a few days to examine you." "That's fine." "Perfect. A detective was here earlier to speak to you but he said he got all the information he needed from your family. I just wanted to let you know." "Thank you." "No problem. A nurse will be in to check on you in about an hour or so." I nodded as she walked towards the door and left.

           "How the hell y'all convinced them people to let y'all stay the night?" I looked around at all of them. "Oh babyyyy." Mimi shook her head. "Ain't no y'all, it was yo husband!" Jade added. "Baby yo nigga is crazy as helllll! He was raising so much hell in these people hospital they put it on lock down." Mimi shook her head. "Nah they had me fucked up. I said we ain't leaving you and the nurse started talking crazy." "And ion know why she did that." KD laughed.

          "That nigga went off so bad I got scared! I forgot I was with him. My bitch ass started making calls too to see if I can accommodate us." Jade laughed. "Not you was in here catching out about me." I whispered to Dae as he walked over to the bed and got in with me. "Hell yeah! Ion play bout my lil shit. I was in this bitch losing my mind, I'm happy you woke yo ass up!" He shook his head. "Shiddd I was ready to just tell them folks give me the other bed in her room cause I'm finna fall out."

           "You are soooo fucking dramatic!" I laughed as he wrapped his arms around me. I snuggled closer to him and laid on his chest. "I'm so happy y'all here, I love y'all so fucking much." I poked my bottom lip out. "You know don't nobody love you more than us!" Jade playfully mugged me. "And I love y'all so much more, TRUST me!" I playfully mugged her back. "Is mommy them gone come see me?" I looked between Jade and Mimi.

           "Girl you know they is! I texted them and told them you was woke, they said they gone be here in the morning." Mimi nodded. "I don't wanna go back to my house. Not now at least." I shook my head as the memories started flooding my brain. I wish I had some weed. Nah this the same pain I felt when I lost my baby, this make me wanna start popping pills again. I don't wanna think about this or feel shit.

           "Well you know you can always stay with one of us." KD replied. "You gone stay with me." Glock stated. "Nigga said that like my sista ain't got no choice." Mimi mumbled. "Cause she don't." "Cool it slim, we like you a lil bit but we will jump you." Jade side eyed him. "Slim? Wait damn what you mean y'all like me a lil bit? Fuck I did?" He jerked his head back. "Ion like no nigga tryna put down like he run my sista." Jade shook her head.

           "Hello! Let em know sis!" Mimi snapped her fingers. "Man." Glock sucked his teeth and threw his hand at her, dismissing her. I laughed as him, mimicking and Jade playfully argued. God knows I needed them, I'm so happy they were here when I woke up. Even though I'm in a hospital, ain't no telling what I would've tried to do if I was by myself. "I love you." KD mouthed to me as we made eye contact. "I love you too." I smiled as I mouthed it back.
