          "Bae what's today's date?" I asked as I filled out the paperwork. "Uhh." He pulled his phone out his pocket. "July 23rd." "Thank you." I wrote the date down. "No problem." He nodded. We're currently at the hospital to make sure everything is good with my pregnancy so far. "Last name Roberts!" A nurse came out and yelled. Me and Dae got up and headed towards her. "And how do you pronounce your first name?" "Makyha." "Okay Makyha I'm Staci, follow me please."

         "Okay." She turned around and started walking down the hall. Me and Dae followed closely behind her until we got to a room. I sat on the edge of the bed while Dae sat in the chair next to it. "So what brings you here today Ms. Makyha?" She skimmed over the clipboard. "I took two pregnancy test yesterday and they came back positive." "Well congratulations." She beamed. "We're just gonna do some blood work and make sure everything is fine."

"Okay no problem." I nodded. "Okay I'll be right back." She walked out the room. "When it's time to take my blood can you hold my hand please? I hate shots." I looked at Dae. "Yeah my big baby, I got you." He chuckled. Staci walked back in with the needle and single tube. "Okayyy I'm just gonna feel around and check which area has the best vein, once I find it I'll let you know before I stick you okay?" "Okay." I nodded. She washed and dried her hands then out on gloves.

         Once she felt around for a minute or two, she found what she was looking for. As promised, she let me know before she stuck me. Dae grabbed my hand and I squeezed it tightly. "Alright, all done. This will only take an hour or two." "Well damn." Dae muttered. "It's to determine how far along she is." "Okay thank you." I nodded. She gave a small smile then left. "The fuck we supposed to do fa a hour?" Dae sucked his teeth. "Well we did have to get up early so let's take a nap." All four of his lil brothers have been staying with us for summer break so we been getting up early taking the two little ones to summer camp and the old ones to sports camps.

           "Hell yeah, perfect." He stood up and climbed in the bed. After we both got comfortable we snuggled closer together and drifted off to sleep. "I'm excuse me, Ms. Roberts." I felt somebody light taping me. "Hm?" I jumped up. "Sorry to startle you, your blood work came back." Staci was kinda standing over me. "Bae." I started shaking Dae. "I'm already up." He yawned. "Okayyy you are one hundred percent pregnant, you are approximately eight weeks pregnant, your due date is February 12th."

            "Man I can't believe I'm really pregnant." I started fanning my eyes. "All them times you told me to nut in you done finally caught up to you ass. What you finna cry fa? You did this to yourself self." Dae laughed. "Shut up!" I punched him in the back of his head. "I'm crying because I'm just feeling so many emotions right now, but mainly happy." I wiped my tears. After we did the ultrasound and stuff we were free to go.

When we got in the car Dae excitedly pulled his phone out and called somebody. "Ma guess what. You finna be a grandma!" He beamed. "I swear to god, me and my girl just left the hospital." He said excitedly as he crunk up the car. "You gone meet her real soon. How bout this? Next time I come visit you imma bring her okay?" I just sat there silently. I don't have a problem at all meeting his mom, I'm actually so excited! But how you just volunteer me? Nigga ain't even ask.

"Ight I love you too, be safe imma talk to you later." "Yo momma got a phone in the Feds?" I asked as we pulled out the parking lot. "Hell yeah ma got a phone while she locked up! Gotta make sure she straight." "I know that's right, I can't wait to meet her." I smiled at him. "I can't wait for you to meet her too. Ever since I told her bout you and sent her pictures she always bringing you up. She said you real pretty." He cheesed.

"Aww you be talking bout me to yo mommy glockyyy?" I pinched his cheek. "Never mind." He sucked his teeth and swatted my hand away from his face. "Aye it's cool if I tell my people you pregnant? I ain't gone tell the whole family, only my grandmas, my auntie and Mani." "Bae I don't care." I shrugged. Cause I plan on telling Jade, Mimi our parents and KD today. I know you're supposed to wait until you're farther along to tell people but I feel like they need to know now.
