            "Baby you know what I just thought about?" I said to Dae as we walked through the cereal aisle of Walmart. "What's that?" "We need to go to the other house and sell all my stuff or give it away." Yeah I know I said imma be living with him until I find a new place but I haven't even began looking and honestly I don't want to. I love living with him, I love seeing him every morning I wake up and every night I go to bed. Hell I love how his house feels like a home.

"Already did that." He said as he took the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Loaded out of his little brother's hands. "Aw man!" Xavier sucked his teeth as Dae put them back on the shelf. "Wait what you mean already did that?" My eyebrows stitched together in confusion. "You never talked about finding a place and even if you did I wasn't gone let you so I been gave that shit away." He shrugged. "To who?" "Whoever needed it. I let yo sistas look through and get first dibs first then the rest of that shit went to Salvation Army."

I honestly didn't know what to say. I'm definitely not mad at him. "Them hoes ain't even tell me nothing." I laughed. "Why I can't get the cereals I want?" Zay pouted and folded his arms. "Man stop acting like a bitch." Mason sucked his teeth and slapped the back of his head. "I ain't no bitch!" Zay swung and punched Mason in his hip. "Aye watch yo mouth, don't call him that shit!" Dae snapped as he grabbed Zay by his shirt to get him to stop swinging on his brother. "And you can't get them cereal because you just in here picking up shit, you ain't never even ate them before."

"He acting like a lil girl in here pouting over cereal and shit." Jaquan added. I wanted to say something so bad but I don't wanna over step. "Boys and men allowed to show emotions too, that don't make them a girl or a bitch so shut that shit up and leave him the fuck alone." Dae snapped on the two older boys. "I keep telling y'all bout that tough shit, y'all ain't gotta be tough all the time." The boys kept walking. "And Quis and Zay pick up some more dumb shit and imma whoop y'all ass and make y'all lay down when we get home."

"No way you spent all that money on groceries." I shook my head as we put the food away. "I eat a lot, you eat a lot these lil rascals damn sholl eat a lot-." "Boy!" I slapped the back of his neck. "Bae you know I was just playing." He laughed and ran from me as I playfully hit him again. "What y'all want for dinner?" I looked at him and his brothers. All of them started yelling out suggestions. "Nope it's okay, I'll pick!" I pulled the freezer out and took out the ground beef and put it in the sink.

              "I'm making spaghetti and garlic bread." "And fish." Jaquan said. "Ew I hate fish." Mason made a disgusted face. "Yuck! Me too." Marquis stuck his tongue out. "Jaquan you don't demand nothing, she ain't the maid. You ask if she can make fish." Dae said as somebody knocked on the front door. "My fault, can you please make fish too?" "You good baby, and yes. I'll just make fish and chicken. That's okay?" All the boys nodded as Dae went to get the door.

              "Where my sister at Mr. Nigga?" I heard Jade's voice. "I'm in the kitchen!" I shouted. Moments later her and Dae came walking in. She had on scrubs, shades and crocs with a Stanley cup in her hand and her hair clipped up. "Hi my baby." She walked over to me and gave me a hug. "Hi beautiful, you okay?" I eyed her. "I've been better." She sighed and took a seat. "What's wrong?"

            "I'm mourning." "KD?" She nodded and I heard sniffles. "Aww my baby." I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her. "You still haven't spoken to him?" "No and I'm not. I'm done with him." She wiped her eyes and took the shades off. She had big bags under her eyes and they were puffy. My jaw dropped. "I know, I know. Please don't say nothing! I'm sick to my stomach bout that nigga. I wanted to tell her he been asking about her and he miss her but I don't want her to think I'm invalidating her feelings.

               "But enough about him, we got some serious shit to discuss." "Serious shit like what?" I sat down next to her. "As you know the summer is ours and my birthday is next month so we need to all plan what we doing." All of our birthdays are in the summer. Jades' birthday is June 10th, Mimis' birthday is July 4th and mine is August 3rd. Bitches HATE to see us coming! "Dae said me and him gone go on a combined trip since we have the same birthday, what you and Mimi wanna do?"

               "We both was thinking about taking a trip too but three trips back to back might be a lot for us." She huffed. "But if that's what we wanna do we might as well get to it now. Especially for you, your birthday is next month." "I knowwww." She huffed. "Let me call Mimi." She grabbed her phone out her purse and started calling Mimi. "Yes my love?" Mimi answered. "What you doing snuckems?" "Lashes, wassup?" "Me and Kyha tryna figure out what we doing for our birthdays, all of us thinking about taking trips." "Okay tell me who I need to send my money to and when." "So you down?" I asked her.

              "Hell yeah. Jade we need to think of somewhere for you to go now, we ain't got a lot of time. Kyha where you going?" "I gotta ask Dae where we going." "What you talking bout?" He came scrolling in the kitchen. "Where we going for our birthday?" "Colombia." He opened the fridge and grabbed a soda. "Who we send our money to?" Jade looked between the both of us. "Girl please." I threw my hand at her. "Money for what? Y'all don't need no money, just get y'all clothes. Everything on me."

             "He's a good man Savannah!" Mimi fake cried. All of us started laughing. "Okay so we going to Colombia, where else?" Mimi asked. "Mimi didn't you say you wanted to go to Mexico?" Jade looked down at the phone even though we weren't on FaceTime. "Yeah, Cancun to be exact." "Okay so Mexico for Mimi birthday and what about you Jay?" "Fuck it let's go to Bahamas!" "Ahhhh!" All of us started screaming excitedly. "Okay, okay I'm bout to finish my client so I can come over there and we can discuss everything in person!" Mimi squealed.

             "Okay we love you." "Yeah we love you." I blew kisses. "I love y'all more, later." And she hung up. "I love being a young lit bitch." Jade sat back and smiled. "We bout to be twenty-three with no kids, it's only righttttt." "It's a hot girl summerrrr, get it sexyyyy!" Jade stood up and started twerking, I started dancing with her. "A damn shame." Came from the walk way. The voice startled the shit outta us. KD stood there laughing. "I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be back." Jade looked at me.

             She walked right past KD without speaking, making sure to bump him on her way out. "Damn she still mad at me?" He sighed and looked at me. "Yup." I nodded. "You been telling her what I said?" "No." "Why?" "Because she have every right to feel how she feels, it's not my job to try and coach her to get back with you. You fucked up and you know you did, just give her, her space. "And what y'all was just so happy about?" He changed the subject cause he know I'm right.

                 "Her birthday next month, we going to the Bahamas. Well we just planned to go there, we gotta find everything and pay for it first." He nodded and the black duffle bag in his right  hand on the island.  He opened it and pulled out two nice sized wads of money and sat em in front of me. "You ready KD?" Dae came in the kitchen fully dressed. "Yeah." He closed the bag back up. "Bahamas paid for, let me know if y'all need more money. Love you sis, later."

               "Later I love you too." We hugged and he kissed the top of my head. "See you later baby, I love you." I wrapped my arms tightly around Daeshawn. "I love you more bae." He kissed my lips a couple of times. "Be safe." "I will." He kissed me one more time then walked out with KD. I pulled the chicken and fish from the freezer and sat them on the sink with the ground beef then ran hot water over the meats. "He gone?" Jade said from behind me.

              "Yup." I laughed and walked back to the island where she was sitting again. "Guess what." I looked at her smiling big. "What?" She looked at me suspiciously. "Bahamas paid for." I cheesed big like the koolaid man. "My brother said if this ain't enough he gone send us some more money." "Damn I think I love him! He must want some coochie." She smiled big too. "He making his hard on me damn, now I gotta say thank you. I'm just text him and say it now cause knowing me I'll fuck around text him late night bout 10:00 and be bouncing on that dick by 10:02." "Jade!" I shook my head and laughed.
