I opened my eyes and saw nothing but bright lights. Am I in heaven? I looked around and see that I'm in a hospital room. Jade, Mimi, KD, mama Jackie, mama Miranda, papa Jerome and papa Jermaine all sitting around the room. Everybody's eyes big and puffy. "Y'all." I said in a raspy voice.

Everybody's head shot in my direction. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS YOU THINKING?" Jade yelled, storming over to me. "Jaydan." Papa Jermaine grabbed her. "NO!" She snatched away from him. "Why would you try to kill yoself? Are you fucking crazy?" She pointed in my face. "Ja-." "You so selfish!" She continued, tears gushing from her eyes.

"Come on Jade, not right now." Mimi said with tears in her eyes, never looking at me. She grabbed Jade's arm and dragged her out the room. "Makyha, what WERE you thinking?" Mama Jackie stood over me and asked. "I wasn't thinking." I said in a low voice. "You could've asked for help baby girl." Papa Jermaine said in a sincere voice.

"I know but I didn't want help. I just didn't want nobody being disappointed in me." "So you thought killing your self was the answer?" Mama Miranda finally spoke. "Yes." "I'm going to get the doctor." She got up and walked out. "Can I get some water?" I asked nobody in particular. Papa Jerome got up and poured me a cup of water from the hospital tray.

I looked over at KD who's been staring at me since I woke up. His face held an expression that I can't explain. But one thing I do know is that his eyes held nothing but HURT. He looked away from me and looked up at the tiny tv on the wall. I slowly sipped on my water as mama Miranda walked in with two doctors.

"Hello Makyha, I'm Dr. Anderson, this is our psychiatrist Dr. Manning. Ms. Roberts you took a dangerous amount of pills, fortunately we were able to pump your stomach. As of today we will be admitting you into the hospital's psychiatric unit where you will be closely monitored." The black female doctor explained to me.

"No." I shook my head. "No? What the fuck you mean no?" KD finally spoke. "No as in I don't want to, I'm not crazy." KD chuckled bitterly and shook his head. He stood up and started walking out. "WHAT THE FUCK YOU DOING HERE!?" We heard Jade yell in the hallway. "KD NO!" Mimi yelled next. All of a sudden a bunch of commotion was heard going on in the hallway.

Everybody rushed out to see what was going on. "WHOOP HIS ASS KD, I'M SICKA HIMMM!" Jade kept yelling. "Enough, enough!" I'm assuming that was security talking. "IMMA PUT YOU ON A SHIRT HOE ASS NIGGA!" I heard KD yell. I knew he was talking to Tig. It took a whole ten minutes and a bunch of begging and pleading not to have Kobe arrested.

"We'll give you five more minutes then you'll be escorted to the psychiatric unit." Dr. Manning said then walked out the room. "Girls step out into the hallway please." Mama Miranda said to Mimi and Jade. They both got up and left. "I can't even explain how hurt I am. For you to feel like you have to kill yourself in order to get away from this boy really hurts me." Mama Miranda said as her voice cracked.

        "You know all four of us love you as if we had you, you can always come to us about ANYTHING! You bet not never EVER do something so silly and thoughtless again, you hear me?" She pointed at me. "Yes ma'am." "I know you grown and we try to stay outta y'all dating life and stuff but this a wrap." Papa Jermaine said. "You and Trayvon are through! You can't date or see em no more! He come near you call the police and us." Mama Jackie said.

        "Yes ma'am." "If we hear you was back with that boy I'm gonna be very upset and disappointed in you." "I promise I'm not." "We gone be back to check on you tomorrow baby. We gone let the girls come talk to you. Call us if you need us." Papa Jerome said as he came and gave me a hug and kiss on the forehead. After all of them hugged and kissed me Jade and Mimi walked in.
