Shortly, after I became his girlfriend I moved in with him. My mom wasn't excited about me leaving her but she came to terms with it saying I'm an adult now and eventually I would have flown from under her roof. One warning that she gave me was to wait until marriage for sex.

When I told my mom that I became Marlon's girlfriend, she wasn't surprised. She told me she felt we were together long before I really became his girlfriend. Even though, she've warned me to date someone within my class and not to fall for Marlon's kindness, she didn't judged me. She claimed she just wanted me to be happy.

I tried to do all the home making at Marlon's house.  Even though, he has a maid- Ms. Cynthia. It was difficult though as I had to work but I believe in taking care of the house as a woman.

Throughout my time here, Alicia popped up three times. She was the same girl I saw him with at the mall. She was beautiful. But every time she came, Marlon told the maid to tell her he was busy. I was always scared when she pops up. I fear her finding out about our affair and her reaction. This made me feel guilty sometimes like I was partaking in infidelity.

One Sunday while I was at the house cooking dinner, the Hanks popped up. Marlon wasn't expecting them but he refused to turn them away knowing I was here. As they entered, their heads turned towards the kitchen.
"When did you get a different maid son?" his mom asks.
"She's not my maid ma." He answered.
"Then who's she?"
"A friend." Though I didn't like his reply, I knew it was to protect our relationship.
"When have you started to keep friends with people like these?" his mom asks angrily.
"What are you guys here for?" he asks, switching the topic.
"Answer the question boy!" his dad shouted.
"Obviously, you guys aren't here for anything, so can you guys please excuse us."
"Is that your shirt that she's in?" his sister asks.
"Can you guys please go?" Marlon asks calmly.
"It seems they're having an affair ma." Demir pointed out.
"What kind of disgrace is this Marlon? Are you out of your mind? How could you? Aren't you engaged, to get married?" his mom fired at him.
"He left the lady for the maid." His sister said. At this I cried softly to myself while cooking.
"Break up whatever you guys have going on because I'll make sure it doesn't work. I'll never accept a dog in my family. Dogs are meant for outside. She's just a golddigger. You'll marry Alicia and have children to inherit your portion of the inheritance!" With that his family went away. As the door was shut I burst out crying.

What I expected finally happened. But I blame Marlon. He shouldn't have opened the door.
"Bae," he called as he saw me running up the stairs. I just wanted to get away. He followed behind me and as I reached the room, I slammed the door in his face.
