ONLINE TO-GO SYSTEM. THAT was the new venture that The Beef was now implementing. The kitchen was bustling as everyone tried their best to get the food prepped before not only they would open, but also turn on the online service. Something they had never done before and something no one apart from Sydney and Carmy had any experience of working with. The only good thing was that they had two sets of extra hands with Fak hanging around as well as Louie, Tina's son having had to come with his mom to work.

"What could go wrong, eh?" Kitty muttered, walking past Richie and ignoring the argument Carmy and Sydney were currently having next to the new machine. The to-go tablet. Something that was so small yet already was causing such big rifts through the team.

He snorted at her comment and nodded.

"You left the pre-order option open," Carmy stated. Glaring at Sydney.

"What's that mean?" Richie questioned, folding his arms over his chest as he stood not too far from them. The rest of the team also gathered around, confused as to what was going on.

Kitty folded her arms as she came to stand next to Richie. Bouncing on her feet as she waited to hear how they managed to screw yet another thing in such a short amount of time.

"That means we have seventy-eight slices of chocolate cake, ninety-ninety French fries, fifty-four chickens, thirty-eight salads, two hundred and fifty-five beef sandwiches due up in...eight minutes," Carmy listed off, getting more and more annoyed with each number he called out.

Richie shook his head and laughed bitterly. Kitty scoffed, staring at Carmy and Sydney with her mouth agape. She couldn't believe that this kind of disaster had actually happened. Even when she knew that something would go wrong (because it normally did), she expected something small, like running out of bread towards the end of service or the mixer fucking up again or someone spilling something on the floor and making a giant mess. This mess, though, this mess didn't even flash through her mind as a possibility.

"Yo, I fucking told you!" Richie exclaimed. Looking utterly pissed off at Sydney.

"You didn't fucking tell me shit!" She yelled back at him.

"Shut the fuck up!" Carmy screamed, "Shut the fuck up! Let me think for a fuckin' second!"

Surprisingly enough everyone stopped talking. Even Richie. Instead he resulted to pacing up and down just behind Kitty. Whilst she simply stood as stiff as a board. Utterly shocked at what was happening. There was no way in hell that they were able to do all of those orders, not in one day let alone in eight minutes
